After a disappointing experience with this grocery store, I decided to give them another chance based on feedback from other customers and my own regular visits.nnToday, I finally found the boneless chicken leg pieces I was looking for. They were fresh and cheaper than at the supermarket. The store also offers a wide range of spices and vegetables at reasonable prices. Although I was frustrated before, my recent visit was positive. My friends and I shop here regularly, and overall, the store offers good value and fresh products.
Used to have a positive 5 star experience but all that changed unfortunately.nnLoyal customer for over 1.5 years. Right now, I prefer to go back to No Frills rather than deal with these guys.nnEdit: Wow... insinuating I own a No Frills because I changed my 5 star review to 1 star. Here's the deal, your produce continues to get worse while your prices keep going up. I stopped going to No Frills and other shops because of the boycott and to support my community.nUnfortunately, you have been taking advantage of this, with your prices and quality going down the drain.nTake a step back, internalize the feedback, and improve your service. If you improve things, I'll go back to being a loyal 5 star customer. Lashing out on me turns me even further away from you. This is also what happens inside your shop.... For God's sake, make the aisles wider. Also, add more space on check out and add more carts.nYour customers have other options, improve your service or lose them.
We absolutely love the quality and taste of the fruits and vegetables at this market. It's our go-to place for buying groceries, and the best part is the incredible prices. With its various sections, it offers everything we need. We particularly enjoy finding fresh pita bread here, and the quality and taste of their meat are also excellent. The staff is helpful and friendly, which adds to the positive experience.nnHowever, the store is a bit small, and navigating through it can be challenging, especially when it's busy. Additionally, we try to use less plastic, which might pose a challenge for the cashiers.nnOverall, despite these minor inconveniences, it remains our favorite spot for regular grocery shopping thanks to its unbeatable prices and quality offerings.
As Amar Halal is the best in the area clean, organized and good customer service while the worst store among all is Oma on highland rotten meat, stinky butcher, expired items, dirty shop, terrible customer service, and very rude cashiers and mean staff, Roua Halal seems to be OK.nGood location on Courtland and Sterling in Kitchener; they also have a good parking lot that could be a little more organized. They may also need to redesign the entrance and the flow towards the cashier at the end before the exit.nIn general, it's a good halal food store that can be improved in the future.
Disappointed with the customer service at this place. There were two ladies chatting and eating behind the counter. They saw me waiting to grab an order but proceeded to carry on their conversation as if I wasn’t there. How is this not rude? How is this good customer service? Finally I spoke up after waiting for some time, and just wanted to get out of there. The cashiers were not that friendly either. It’s too bad because I do believe in supporting small local businesses and ethnic communities when possible. But not when the treatment and professionalism is not even average. Being kind and professional is pretty basic.
