Roosters Coney Island

A place that punches above its weight. Generous potions of delicious greasy spoon favorites, served quickly with friendly attentive service at a very reasonable price. Frequented by veterans, retirees, and blue collar folks. Often crowded in mornings but tables turn over quickly and worth the wait.

Service was great, hash browns were a little under cooked for well done but otherwise no complaints. Our waitress was really sweet and allowed for plenty of time to read through the menu new diet. She was awesome to defuse me mid meltdown lol. Thank you guys for a great first experience.Food: 4/5

Great place to eat for breakfast and lunch. Paula is a terrific server. One complaint I have is we called ahead to see when Paula was working to drop by to say hi and eat since we live in Florida and boy did we get a really nasty response from the owners girlfriend, Angie. She was not customer service friendly.

Food is good. But husband and I had a horrible experience with a waitress named Amy. When we told her something was wrong with our food she coped an attitude and snatched his plate and walked away. When she came back with his plate she didn't say anything. She just put his food in front of him and walked away. Not an apology, nothing. I will never sit in her section ever again and it'll be awhile before I go back. How rude to make a paying customer feel like garbage because we want what we ordered and paid for.

Worst experience at a restaurant ever. Stop in from on the highway for breakfast. My food taste like they had put dishwashing liquid in my food. Daughters food was like it was made a few days ago. The waitress know it was right because when I told her she had no questions and was quick to take the food off my bill!

This was our first visit to this Coney style restaurant. We arrived right at Saturday morning rush hour, but were seated quickly by pleasant staff.The food was prepared to our liking and the bacon was nicely done, not under cooked and not overly crispy, It is a little noisy because seating is arranged so close but is worthy of another visit.

Very good and busy for breakfast. Service spot on. Clean.

I haven't been there in years. Took my niece Saturday and had a great experience as always. Roosters is still great as always Including prices. Food: 5/5
