Clearly they are extremely under staffed. Place was somewhat clean, Melissa my server is extremely friendly and polite. Had a 20 minute wait for 1 seat at 1100, tables weren't bussed or wiped down, not even the bar area was clean. The food orders are very long wait. So far 20 mins for a cheese burger and fries. If your coming here...don't suggest being in a hurry or you are going to be severely disappointed and upset.
It was short staffed but food came out relatively fast, over medium eggs where a bit too "over" but bareable. Toast was almost inedible, Country fried steak was great, gravy a good consistency. Sweet tea was awesome. The waitress today was very over worked but did an excellent job juggling tables needs.
Person in the front is not very bright. Doesn’t welcome or seat anyone, or even make eye contact…ignores someone standing in front of them. Walked in and watched the host/clerk check out 7 freakin people in a row and would not seat two of us for 15minutes as we just stood there and even said “hello”…so just to slowly turned and walked out. Strange really. I was there when only the first was checking out waiting at the host “wait to be seated” stand. This place is horrible.
When we got there, there was 2 people waiting in front of us. The girl working proceeded to tell us that it would be a 20 min wait. So we decided to take a seat on the bench and wait. The 2 people in front of us left. We waited about 10 minutes. 2 couples walked in and the girl working the register asked them how many in their party and was grabbing the menus. We spoke up and she just looked at us dumbfounded. Dennys has been one of our favorite restaurants but we will never be back to this one.
Not enough employees, so everything suffered. Waitress was stressed and good remember if you ask for anything like refill and cook must have been overwhelmed because it wasn't cooked to order. I've ate here several times, with a little more improvement I would be happy to give them a 4 or 5 star rating since selection and price are very good.
The food was good. had to wait 10 minutes trying to find somebody that was working there. I thought they were closed at the gas station next-door and they informed me no they’re open. They had no coffee. No one checked on us. Went to check out and had to wait again to pay after I followed the woman up to the counter to pay she left and went back came back after at least five minutes took over 10 minutes just to check out because she didn’t know how to work the computers and then they refused to take the AARP card will never come back to this this Dennis again again I’m not sure if I want to go to Denny’s ever again took over an hour, just to stop in for a quick breakfast, and there is only one other person in the restaurant that came in after us
I can not tell you how the food was because after we placed our order, paid for it and waited 20 minutes. The lady comes and tells us that they are out of what is needed to make our order. We asked for a refund and she stated that she could not do that and we could order something else. We only wanted our money back another 30 minutes of going back and forth she finally gives us our money back. I am happy that we did not eat there because when we went to pick up our truck from the service department the workers we telling us how they all got sick from eating there. I thank God we did not eat here and we were saved from any food poisoning or illness that we might have encountered. We had enough bad experience with her rude and unprofessional behavior.
I ordered breakfast to go including two pancakes today, i asked the cashier if she put two syrup in the bag , she said there is only one allowed. So I have to pay extra 25 cent in order to get second one. The syrup is small so one is not enough for these too big pancakes
We had a awesome dine in experience the service that Kelsey gave was very welcoming on the night shift, she gave me and my family excellent service, she was very attentive and had our drinks right and our orders and we are looking forward to going back again we hope that Kelsey serves us again!!!! her smile and humor was everything we needed she made our day 100 times better, thank you Kelsey!!!!
Don't go here unless you want to wait an hour for your food. We had quit going here for quite some time for this very reason, but we thought we would give the new management another shot. Initially I thought it was worse than before, but my wife reminded me of a few of the past things, so I guess not worse now, but still just as bad. We were there almost 2 hours from time in until time out the door. No apologies from the management. They offered a 10 per cent discount because we were told almost an hour after we ordered that they didn't have part of what we had ordered, but my AARP membership took off 15 instead. Still no apologies from management. We will not be back. This is the Jackson Tn. Dennys.
