We are from out of town and go out of our way for their fried chicken. It is to die for!! If you love fried chicken you must try it. They make it fresh when you order. We called ahead. The fries are also very good. Hot and salty and generous portion size.
Take out only now. Place has character and looks like it's been around forever. Would like to see them up their game a bit. The last award was in 2007.
Chicken was average. A bit on the greasy side. Good size basket of French fries. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was TRASH! Yuck... way to much sage. So much sage the gravy had a green tinge to it. We probably won't make the trip out there again, as Pizza Ranch and KFC have better chicken.
The best fried chicken I've had in my life. I'd drive 100 miles and rent a hotel room for this stuff. Try the hot BBQ sauce.
