Nice atmosphere. Good servers. Interesting selection of food but not executed very well. It would be fine it the prices were more reasonable. As it is you will likely feel that you overpaid for what you got.
This is my first visit. I am not sure if I will come back again. We went there today around 9pm. They were a little busy, I only see one server running the whole dining room…So the service wasn’t the best, we were waiting for server to take our order forever. And no spoon provided when we have rice and soup on the table, we need to wait for server passing by and we need to stop her to ask for spoon. I feel bad for her, maybe the owner should hire more server ? The food was ok, not as good as I expected….clams and scallops are sandy, I cannot enjoy the food that I paid for. This meal we paid total $92 including tips, it’s quite expensive. I know food cost and labor cost are higher than before, but I don’t think the food quality and service that I received is worth it.
A great little spot for Izakaya! Service was nice and the food delicious with a varied menu and lots to try out and share. I really liked the karaage with the house special sauce especially as the sauce gave it a kick and the chicken was really quite tender without being overly fried.
Great spot to visit for fun cocktails, good food and trying some Japanese whisky. The Momo pop peach, soda, whisky and a popsicle was great. Really enjoyed the lychee shrimp. The Samurai skewers were tasty although not 100% sure if it was supposed to be served cold. Tasty overall though with a stylish indoor and patio open in the summer.
Love the ambience and decorationsAll the food was so fresh and tasty yumm 100% Japanese vibes. The girl server was so cute and friendly too
Honestly, I thought this place was going to be good but it was bad. For the price point of 85 bucks I’d rather go to kintaro. We got the beef tongue and beef rib set and they all tasted the same. It was really thick and chewy. The pork katsu was okay, I could probably make better at home. My partner she got the unagi Don and it was forgettable. Don’t waste your money here, it isn’t cheap, it isn’t fresh and it isn’t tasty
Came here on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't busy which was nice and alot quieter than normal izakaya places that are normally full and loud. The food came out super fast though! We ordered: Pork Belly Lychee Ebi Bomb Ronin Top Set Seafood Set Takoyaki Gyoza Kaarage with Signature Sauce We also got a bottle of Peach Sake. Originally we tried to order 2 other flavored sake but they didn't have those in stock. The skewers were ok, seasoned well, a little salty but otherwise tasted good. The Lychee ebi was different and flavours went well together. Nothing special about the fried gyoza and the kaarage was very crispy but also tasted very oily at the same time. Not sure I'd come back as there are many other izakayas with better menus.
Had a really excellent night here! Foods are delicious and people here are friendly. Great place for party! Price is also friendly to students!
Food was great, service was even better. Restaurant looks great. We even got offered 2 Polaroids of our night and a promo for our next time. It was our first night out as a couple in a month and a half because we got a puppy and I'm glad we spent it here!
in love with the atmosphere and interior. staff were accommodating. the food couldve been a bit better but overall a good experience!
