During my recent visit to the flooring department at Rona McLeod, I purchased a door transition strip. The exceptional customer care at Rona truly stands out in helping customers select the right products. I am grateful for the assistance provided by Walter from the flooring and blinds department. His extensive product knowledge and valuable ideas and suggestions were truly appreciated.nI visited Home Depot for the same product, but unfortunately, I experienced very poor customer service there. Rona's customer service is truly top-notch, and I am very pleased with my overall experience.
Refused to rent a vehicle to me after telling me on the phone I could rent a truck from them. EDIT: Thanks for the offer in the reply I've made other arrangements I don't want to drive across the city again. It would be nice however if you specified on your website or when calling in that rentals require a purchase that requires them so people don't waste a trip.
This is undoubtedly the most disappointing Home Hardware store in Calgary. Despite having numerous staff at the customer service desk, there seems to be a complete disregard for customer wait times and inquiries. Customers are told to wait while the staff leave to make phone calls, showing little to no concern for those needing assistance. When approaching the on-duty employees with questions, the response is consistently dismissive, as if they are uninterested in helping and merely there to collect a paycheck. This isn't an isolated issue; multiple employees exhibited this behavior. It's concerning how such attitudes are tolerated, and it raises serious questions about their management's hiring and training practices.
I would give no atars if i could. I am working on a home renovation project and was considering buying all my supplies here but after my debacle just trying to find a bathtub handle I won't be going back. Home depot better serves me. They have customer service unlike this place. I showed up with my handle. The woman at door pointed me to aisle 42. Not to be found. Not in adjacent aisles either. I went to customer service to ask for some assistance and she told me aisle 38 and paged a person there. I wandered around there for 15 minutes. No handle and no costumer associate. Go somewhere else unless you know exactly where to go. I showed up at home depot snd asked the worker there. He took me to area and explained the different parts for me and helped me find something that fit. No thanks to rona. What a joke store.
