What a great store this is. We were looking for a new light fixture for our kitchen and wanted something different from the usual standard fixtures available at hardware stores. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Jules who was so helpful! I told her vaguely what I was looking for and she was more than happy to walk us through the showroom and suggested a few different styles to us. Within 20 min we had found our perfect new fixture, at a good price and rather than wait for it to be ordered, we were able to go home with the display model that day! I don't know why we haven't gone to a lighting center past. Carrington lighting had 1000's of lights in their showroom and even more online!nWe'll definitely be skipping the aisles of the hardware store in exchange for the high quality, fantastic level of service and great pricing of Carrington lighting in the future.
Edit: still no comment or response from Owner.nnI spent over 6k$ on lighting. Was great for 5 years until the led pendent bulbs burned out. Didn’t know warranty for led was only 5 years. Went to store to buy replacement bulbs. They turned me away as bulbs discontinued and no alternative. Wait what?nnAn acquaintance put me in touch with Kari, Store Manager. Great phone call, she will contact Teck Lighting and get back to me. That was 6 months ago. I left many phone messages.nnSo I reached out to Designer I used at time. She had since switched to Robinson Lighting. She contacted Teck Rep and found replacements!nnSo if you want long term service for expensive lighting investment, this is not place.
The bulb color and temperature display are both unique and helpful.nnBefore we bought a ceiling light fixture, a young fellow came out with a ladder to attach it to a power outlet in the ceiling. Then, the sales associate asked him to put in bulbs of different intensities.nnThe bulbs we chose were added to our order. The young man went to the storage area to pack the fixture in the original box and ensured all of the hardware for installation was included.nnI have never seen service this good and will make Carrington my first choice before a big box store.nnWhatever your taste in lighting, I saw everything style I could imagine. The quality was excellent, and the price ranged from super economical to elaborate chandeliers.
Go anywhere else. Had to go here as this was our home builders supplier. Purchased 2 lights that were on sale last ones/floor models. The dining room light was severely scratched when it arrived for install. The second light is a pendent stairwell light and one of the pendants keeps burning out. Have been in my house for 2 weeks and I’m on the 3rd bulb. The response from Carrington is “you bought it on sale”. So because they are on sale to them means whatever happens to the light in the following 8 months from selection to install is my problem because it was on sale. So in short they DO NOT warranty the lights they sell. It’s not as if I had the light in my possession to keep it safe - they did. Go anywhere but here. I can recommend Cartwright lighting. I used them with my last homebuilder and the same thing happened, broken sale light at install, they had me come in and pick another. Go here or better yet look on Amazon or Wayfair.
Went to try for lamp shades - unfortunately they only sell lights.nProvided a name of a company in the SE - too far.nSo went to Homesense instead.
