I’ve been to Rogers Place several times now for both hockey games and concerts, and every visit has been fantastic. The atmosphere inside the arena is always buzzing — whether it’s the energy of an Oilers game or the excitement of a big-name artist taking the stage, the experience feels immersive from the moment you walk in.nnThe staff and service have consistently been excellent. There are plenty of people around to help, answer questions, or guide you where you need to go, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Food and drink options are great, too. From snacks to more hearty options, everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty, and the service is quick even when it’s busy.nnThe arena itself is clean, modern, and well laid out. Seating is comfortable with good sightlines no matter where you’re sitting, and the sound quality for concerts is impressive. I also appreciate how efficient the entry process is — security and ticket scanning move quickly, so you’re not stuck waiting in long lines.nnOverall, Rogers Place continues to be one of my favourite places in downtown Edmonton for entertainment. Whether it’s a game night or a concert, I always walk out with great memories. Highly recommend!
I went to Disney on Ice at Rogers Place and the show itself was a fun experience. The skating was impressive and the characters were amazing to see in person. It was well organized getting in and out. There were people directing traffic and also security in the parking lot, which was a huge relief since it’s downtown.nnThe downside was the food. It was disappointing overall, and the pizza was honestly disgusting. You could also hear staff saying they were already running out of food just minutes after intermission.nnOverall, the show itself was great and worth going for the experience, especially for kids, just don’t expect much from the food.
Went to Disney on ice.nStadium was very clean, with lots of signage for clean communication in direction on seats.nOur family absolutely loved the Disney on ice snow. Great songs and production. Almost any seat your purchased has a great view. Even the cheaper seats up higher.nCon: Price of any food or drinks are outrageous in price. 10$ for a small things of french fries that were cold.
Caught an Oilers game at Rogers Place and had a fantastic time. The concourses are bright and clean, staff were friendly, and security moved quickly so we were in our seats before puck drop. Sightlines are excellent from anywhere and the scoreboard and sound make the atmosphere electric. Food and drinks are tasty but on the pricey side, which is the only knock. Transit access and post-game crowd flow were smooth. I will be back.
This new arena wasn’t even thought of yet when I used to live in Edmonton way way back. Upon revisiting I went to take a look and I was impressed. I never did see the rink itself because it was during the offseason but it was still a treat to walk the interior and outside surrounding area. Well done.
