We had a tournament there we from Calgary it’s old building, but it’s nice.
The Knights of Columbus Twin Arenas is a standard ice rink, offering a familiar experience.nWhile there's nothing extraordinary about it, I appreciate the recent upgrade in lighting. It's a nostalgic place for me, and the improvements over the years, especially in lighting, enhance the overall experience compared to my childhood memories of playing here.
Wonderful facility. Two arenas A &B. Lots of change rooms. Good ice. The rooms are older but in good condition. Large parking lot.nnOne single long bench for spectators. Smaller team bench.nnCantina is available for daytime games. Large entry doors to being in your equipment.
It has ice... after years of scalding showers they finally have adjustable taps. Solid upgrade.
Sometime in the last 5-6 years they've renovated their locker rooms to be larger and exit directly into the rink area. It's much better than the tiny locker rooms they used to have, with the big hallway between the rooms and the rink that ate up potential locker room space.nnIce is okay-ish, and at the last game we had to wait for the rink guy to search high and low for a goal peg. I guess they only have one spare peg, even though there are several spare nets?nnShowers are decent, and locker room bathrooms are still the old ones with no door knob.
