George S. Hughes South Side Arena

Not wheelchair accessible. No ramp, no elevator, no main floor viewing. Extremely dissapointing for my 7 year old son who wanted to watch his brother play.

Nice small arena with overhead heaters. Hard bench style seating. Good view of rink from any spots. Parking in the front and plenty of parking on other side of the arena.

Super small dressing rooms, have to walk through the entrance and up a set of stairs in your skates to get to the ice. Seating area and benches are okay. Seems like only one of the 3 doors is ever unlocked which creates a bottle neck coming in/going out.nnIn the last year or so there seems to be a constant smell of sewage that lingers inside and near the entrances which is quite off putting.

Always cold inside sitting in the stands. Bring warm clothes and a pad or blanket to sit on.

They didn't have the heat on for some reason. It was warmer outside
