Rogers Resort is located on the south shore of Upper Red Lake It is the largest natural freshwater lake located entirely within Minnesota.

Story

Rodgers Resort is a family owned resort specializing in family camping, winter ice fishing, full service fishing trips along with many outdoor activities northern Minnesota has to offer.
Within the main lodge beer/set-ups,pizza, pool table and fun! . We also have a newly renovated campground that includes (7) RV sites and (7) camping sites, complete with electric and water hook-ups, fire rings, picnic tables, and shower access.

I booked with Rogers 2 weeks before thanksgiving. Chris over there took down my name and number and said i reserves the last 4 man shack so I’m good to go. I asked are you sure and if he needs any more info from me and he said no, I’m all booked up and ready to go for when I come up. Well today, Friday after thanksgiving I drove 6 hours from the cities to find out he didn’t have me in the books. Told me sorry, I don’t have you down so call somebody else. Now I’m pissed!!! I just drove 6 hours after he told me I’m booked. He didn’t even bother to help me find another sleeper shack. The way he talked to me you could tell he could care less. I’ll never go back there or recommend Rogers to anyone. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Rogers’s and thought that it could never happen to me, boy was I wrong.

This place is terrible I hope no one ever rents or gives this guy any money. We showed up,he was over booked, and our Reservation was on a bar napkin. So long story short we booked threw up north fish house rentals and dons fish house rentals to give us great service and a place to stay after a 5 hour drive. So if your planning on bookiing with Rogers on Red I would go to dons or up north.

Last week I was all for Rogers resort. Now I am not. I have been going out of that resort for a few years now and have spent hundreds of dollars there. I have always recommended this resort. One incident happens and 4000$ worth of valued items were stolen out of my Ice castle. I paid each day for it to be stored in their field. 1$ a day. Some workers there are thieves. They crawled up the hole in the ice castle and stole from us. For the owner not to give any help and no care is beyond me. He was more interested in who walked in to say hi instead of helping us! I have left a review on their fb page and he ended up blocking me..Dont go to this resort unless you don't mind being robbed and the owner not caring!

I would agree with Ryan on this place! We have been there three times trying to give them a chance but unless you don't mind waiting for very slow service then go here. Each time was the same bait guy and he would be to busy with a beer in his hand talking to ppl to help. As for the bar it's not worth waiting for the girl to even acknowledge you. She stays close to her regular customers to make her few dollars which is sad since the ppl waiting had pockets full and she didn't help anyone. We have since gone down the road and had over the top service and wouldn't go anywhere else.
