Clean. Great for camping, tents and cabins. Lots of well maintained trails with benches and a bike path around beautiful Lake Bemidji.

Beautiful lake, good trails, interesting bog walk. Just lovely. a bit spare between campsites so not a lot of privacy coverage, but it's not that big of a deal.  Lovely park near the city, and out in the woods!

One of the best State Parks I have been to.  The campsites are fantastic and there is a great marina if you are a fisherman.  This attached to one of the best fishing lakes in the state is extraordinary for camping fishermen.

My friend and I camped 4 days over the Memorial day weekend.  I spent many joy filled years in this area with my family.  The park is beautiful and well maintained.  We also camped at Banning State Park.  My one complaint was it seems D.N.R. is cutting back on the hours the office and rangers are available.  We weren't able to get fire wood.  I'm sure federal and state government has cut their budget.  Still park is well maintained, bathrooms were clean which i really appreciate.
