Rodano's

This is a fairly new spot. It's quite large, and has several big long tables so would be good for large parties of people. They have a pretty nice covered patio area outside as well with a fountain running along side. Overall a pleasing aesthetic and atmospheric vibe. The service was perfect adequate. The door was of quality ingredients and well proportioned. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. There is a large bar area which seems beer-forward with many beer options and several signature cocktails to choose from. This is probably the nicest place to dine on the square in Wilks-Barre. Off street parking only, though. Kid-friendliness: This is a slightly more chic restaurant, definitely catering to adult population, I would likely not bring children here Parking: Limited street parking only

Rodano's was such a delightful dining experience. We arrived at 7 p.m. on a Friday night, and there was plenty of seating available. Our server told us that the light crowd was unusual, and was the result of two nearby events being cancelled. Nevertheless,other food was delicious and definitely worth the visit. The Carolina BBQ burger was incredibly juicy, enveloped with melted pepper jack cheese and topped with bacon, Carolina BBQ sauce, and deep-fried onions on a pretzel roll. The fries were fresh, hot, and very tasty. A large pickle spear completed the dish. The Diamond City salad was also wonderful, with fresh apples, pears, mandarin oranges, craisins, candied walnuts, and Swiss cheese served over mixed Greens with a Caribbean mango vinaigrette. The restaurant also has a wide selection of beer and wine, and I would recommend the yard's Philthy IPA, which was very smooth and not as bitter as most in that category. The atmosphere was light, the service prompt, and our server was very kind and friendly. Although it probably flourishes during lunch hours, getting there early between 6 and 7 p.m. would probably be a wise choice.

Arrived on a busy Saturday night and scored the last table for 6. The inside is very spacious and we did not feel crammed at all. It’s open and airy with a modern feel not many places around the Wilkes barre area could compare. Food was as expected with nice sized portions. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere with an upbeat feel this is your place.

The service was slow due to a fundraiser that was being held and shortage of staff. The waitress was excellent. The food was fantastic and we would go here again. Parking: Parking is in the nearby garage

I've been eating at Rodano's since high school, back when it was in its original location. The food is great, and the menu has a lot of variety. The staff is always kind and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. They also have a really nice party room.Food: 4/5

The family was in town for a softball tourney and grabbed a lunch before the games. The service was friendly, thorough and prompt. Plenty of options for adult beverages and regular drinks. Lots of great menu selections for appetizers, soup/salads, sides, main courses and desserts. The dining area is very inviting with plenty of seating and great lightning. There is an adjacent bar with tv's surrounding it. It also included an outdoor area not open at the time that looked cozy and festive for the warmer seasons. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Meter parking available curbside and across the street in the main circle of the city. A great overall experience. Good food at reasonable prices in a formal casual atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the rest of the menu.

Food was perfect, and our server Randy was top of the line. He was attentive, got all the orders correct and went above and beyond with his service. Vegetarian options: Very good

Just got done with lunch. The basil martini had no basil in it. The tortilla chip in our appetizer were all crushed. My wife's Chilli was so cold that the cheese wouldn't melt. The wings were either old or freezer burnt. Too bad to tell which. Stay away.
