First time in 5+ years I visited Franklin's and I was impressed! Our bartender/waitress was so nice and friendly if you're that lady with red/blonde hair, thanks for being awesome and the food was really good. Pricing was on par for local restaurants for the burger, but slightly high for drinks. I LOVE the chalk wall with the seasonal drinks - and will definitely be back to order something off that menu. Parking is street only which was a bummer but expected for downtown. Parking: Street parking only Dietary restrictions: There is a cauliflower crust pizza that's gluten free
They allowed smoking inside this restaurant/bar! Ash trays were available throughout the facility. Menu was slightly high $, but not horrible. Great beer selection, great location. Cool atmosphere if you like the smell of cigarette smoke.Dine in: Yes
The bar staff and drinks are fantastic.The place is quite nice, with a mixed decor of items from PA history. The outdoor seating is very nice with about 7 tables out front.
I have been here in the past and always enjoyed myself. The bartenders are always good conversationalists and knowledgeable when it comes to drinks and drink-making. The prices are reasonable and the food menu offers a nice variety. You will find a great selection of draft beers as well as liquors.
Went for the eagles game as we always do. It's a great time with the fans. The bartenders are very attentive and on their game. The food is always amazing. We always have a great time here. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Nice experience sitting outside for a drink in the evening. Our server was so professional and courteous to indulge in our wish to sit outside for a while between rain storms. Fun drinks, great bar food, very welcoming environment, cool but not snooty.
Love the setup, sitting by the open garage door is great...they still allow smoking inside so I appreciate the fresh air. Food was pretty good, I'd go back to try more.
Passing through for a wedding and this was one of the places our uber driver recommended. It was open, the bouncer was super friendly, and the beer options were plenty. I had an Octoberfest for the first time! I really appreciated the string lights through the bar The bathroom design was stellar, sectioned off without doors, save for stalls, minimizing touch points. All in all a great experience
Came here before a show at the Kirby. We got here 2 hours early so we got at seat, it filled up quickly. Great selection of beer and an upgraded bar-food menu. Everything was good except my friend ordered the pork quesadilla and was really disappionted. 3 stars for that and because they didn't have enough servers on to handle crowd. Overall not bad.
Great beers, awesome food , unfortunately they still allow smoking. The wait staff was some of the best! No matter who walked by, they asked how we were doing or if we needed anything else. I recommend the Jamaican Bob Sliders, some of the most tender pork I have ever eaten.
