Riverland Inn & Suites

If i could give a partial star to this dirty and nasty place that isn't fit to be called a hotel or even hotel... I would have. Notice they call themselves an Inn? We left after being moved to 3 different rooms! The sheets were reused. NOT washed from the previous people in not only 1, 2 but 3 rooms. Health Canada needs to go visit this place!!

We just stayed overnight but were impressed by this hotel/motel. Recent renovations and from what I understand every room has a river view. We had an issue in our room that was dealt with quickly by the front desk. Mattress on one bed was a little worn the other was comfortable and seemed new. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was freezing when we walked in, a lot of the lights didn't work, pee on the seat and a bug on the counter. They also didn't have the best selection of channels on TV. Other than those small things, the heater and fireplace were great. The jacuzzi just needed a rinse and the bed was great. Also the room that had the breakfast was FREEZING in the morning. Had to wear a jacket.

The room had a really nice smell, it was clean and warm, but tile in the hallway was ridiculously slippery with the snow on it. Like hazard big time! The pool/hotub looked good but the change room/ bathroom was outta order.. because you got to go outside to use the pool a change room is essential..hence the 3 stars

For value for money this was a good hotel. We stayed only one night as a stop over. This is not a luxury hotel but it is clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for me but my husband liked it. Pillows aren't great but few hotels have good pillows. Room is small with older furnishings but as mentioned it is clean. Breakfast is included in price and it was good. Very nice view of the river.
