Story

River Cafe is situated on the Scenic Great River Road in Trempealeau, Wisconsin. A short distance from Perot State Park and the great Mississippi River.
Our diverse menu consists of traditional breakfast and lunch items, healthy choices and vegetarian food. Come on in and try our homemade pies!!
River Cafe is owned by Randy and Maggie Breidel. Randy is from La Crosse, Wisconsin and has been in the Restaurant business for 20 plus years as a cook, Manager and General Manager. Maggie is from England, she moved to the USA in 2008 when she married Randy, there will be British dishes on the menu such as the Full English Breakfast complete with imported HP sauce!!!

Came here for breakfast with my daughter and the food was great! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Great little hometown cafe!!

Excellent place for breakfast and lunch. Haven't had a negative experience here. The stuffed French toast is too good.

Great breakfast, excellent and efficient service, and good coffee!! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for your next brunch stop!

Service was good, so was the food.  Nothing fancy, but food was served quickly and was just right.

Great owners and good variety of fare way better than the prices would suggest...make sure you stop through on your bike ride or visit to Trempealeau!
