Rite Aid

The manager of this store at approximately 4:30pm falsely accused my sister of stealing when she put her water bottle in her purse. The manager refused to apologize or provide her name after she realized that she was wrong. I urged my sister to call authorities and file a report. When the cops showed up, they basically said; “we all make mistakes and there’s no report for false accusation” they went on to advise my sister that she can simply stop shopping at the store. The cop went on to say that she’s not welcome at the store anymore. She asked the cop, “I’m not welcome, says Who?”.....and the cop responded by saying “I’m just passing along a message”. I heard all of this because I was on the phone with her. My sister is a college graduate who moved to Albany a couple of months ago from Brooklyn to pursue a medical degree. I’m especially angry because tomorrow(November 8th) is her birthday and knowing my Sister, I know she won’t stop crying till tomorrow. If your younger sister lived 3 hours away and this happened to her, you would be very angry too.

I always received good care at this Pharmacy. I have just moved away and hope that the new Rite Aid will have people as kind and courteous as Sarah and Sandy.

I am new in the area, they have have been so kind in transferring my out of state prescriptions. The staff is lovely and very professional.
