This morning my boyfriend and I ordered an eggs Benedict with bacon, a western omelette, a side of bacon & a bowl of fruit and slice of cheese cake. Upon arrival the order was not ready yet so I waited close to the entrance. My western omelette had green peppers in it, which I asked to be removed, and I never received my toast.I also noticed someone was working in the back without wearing a mask, I am unsure for how long & what position they were in. The rest of order was made correctly and my boyfriend mentioned his eggs Benedict was delicious. I enjoy that you can chose they way you’d like your has browns grilled, deep fried & shredded my boyfriend got the deep fried & I got the shredded, we both enjoyed them. The cheese cake was to die for & the fruit was very fresh. Reminder that the meat is cooked with chicken & beef, and not pork, that being said the meat we received in our breakfast was still very tasty ! The staff in general were very nice & friendly and I enjoyed their hospitality
This is a very conveniently located restaurant on the university avenue just out the Windsor City Centre but still walkable. Place had a nice parking area and enough seating space. Very nice booths to sit in and enjoy the meal. We ordered the omelette with potatoes and toast, and egg Benedict. Both the dishes were very well cooked and severs brought in coffee to go with it. Overall good experience. Thanks to the amazing ladies who took care of our order and checked up on regularly.
Went here for my brothers birthday, he ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes with a side of sausages. He absolutely loved it all, everything was very filling. I had the Rise 'N Grind meal, my eggs were cooked just right and even though they do not serve pork the beef sausage was very delicious. It was genuinely a good first experience, the waitress was very consistent in making sure we were taken care of.
Nice needed breakfast place at this side of town with very friendly staff and a lovely ambience which is definitely an upgrade from Skippy's which used to be here before. I hope they can match up to the great food though. Just tried them once and a bit disappointed with the food but there is scope for improvement. Would like to try again, as they just opened and deserve another chance. Went there again and this time the experience was not so good ,did not just get my order late but also it was incorrect and incomplete . 2 eggs instead of three with no bread and the pancakes were without syrup.Which i noticed once i was back home. Also their homefries are terrible , they are undercooked and oily . They need to figure stuff out soon.
Feeling a bit nostalgic today so I stopped in on The Old Skippy's which is now the Rise N Shine. To my delight the interior has been completely remodeled with a very aesthetically pleasing Black and White theme. Menu offer the standard breakfast favorites and some great early bird specials! I had The Rise N Grind eggs over med, whole wheat toast hash browns & bacon as you can see from the pic's plenty of tasty, well cooked food that didn't take long to make. The waitress was amazing and made a couple of great suggestions. Bathroom was clean with 2ply toilet paper which is always a plus. I whole heartily endorse this wonderful diner!
Had a very hard time finding the Diner. There was a very small store name.The breakfast was alright. Although it wasn't to busy, we still had to wait 45min for our food.
100% the best service and incredible food! They were accommodating and kind. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Most definitely will be back again!
This place has been consistently great on the breakfast I always get. The bacon is halal made with beef - but I think it tastes better than regular bacon. The staff are consistently friendly l!

Nice local family Resturant owned by two brothers. Great for lunch ordered turkey club and western, greeted by owner Ahmed and server Jessie.
