Good for Western tastes and a good value sometimes. Long lines on busy days, which also means the food will have higher turnover and be fresher. Service is average and it can be hard to flag down waiters sometimes. Go for whatever's freshest and you'll have a fairly good meal. Desserts were mediocre thought not too bad. I recommend avoiding the salad bars, though. Some of that stuff looks awful. Don't forget to sign up for an account at the casino to get a small discount.
Great food with good amount of variety! Make sure to come with an empty stomach so that you can try out everything Waiting time and service is not bad at all.
Overcooked eggs, undercooked bacon when i asked for it crispy. Burnt toast. Didn't even finish my meal and neither did my girlfriend. Its hard to mess up eggs but somehow they did.
Price is reasonable, not too expensive. We came for lunch and it was not crowded given that it's Valentines Day which is good I love the station where you select your noodles and the sauces, meats and toppings. Dessert bar was great! They have different ice creams and toppings. They have great selection of pastries.
Staff is friendly and attentive. Our waiter made us a special drink he came up with, which was quite tasty. Washrooms and food stations are clean. Sadly, the food is SO bland and not very good. Lots of variety to choose from...The prime rib was overcooked along with most other food items. Desserts all tasted the same too even though we tried to get different things : "Create your pasta your own way" station was good though. Also heard that the "make your own stir fry" station is good too but we didn't try it. I think what saved this place from 1-2 stars was our waiter who gave great service!
Don't think this buffet will ever reopen. New Caesars owners dont want buffets anymore as they lose money. They lose money because they are poorly managed. People like all you can eat and variety...especially Americans. Most casinos only lease space to franchise companies. I expect all Windsor casino food will be franchised spots soon. Save money on staff wages and get rent. Goodbye to the good workers who built that casinos clientele with great service only to be sold out by corporate greed. Shame Windsor Casino.
I used to love this place and would try to eat here 4 or 5 times per year, it was always a great selection of food. However on our last trip there I can't help but feel the quality has slipped somewhat and there seemed to be less of a selection. The prime rib was still excellent as was the desert selection, but I feel the general quality has declined. Hopefully that was a one off, I'll try it again and will adjust my review if its better next time.
Food selectively good. The “make your own stir fry” section I would say is the highlight, but only because you’re picking exactly what you want and it’s actually being cooked fresh in front of you. They used to give you drinks in big glasses before, but they switched to cheap small plastic cups. We are at a buffet people, we might need more than just three sips of water to go with a meal, so my main complaint is that i have to ask for at least 4 refills every time I come here. Dessert is okay. You will find the freshness and selection of food here to be very random every time you make a trip, but coming right before close guarantees your food will not always be super fresh.
I would like to give 2-3 stars taste of food especially Pasta section where you grab and choose sides like spinach, mushrooms what you want before have a chef cook pasta in front of you!. Service is not bad. I even saw the manager have to get involved to clean the tables, too. **BIG tips: Never go on holiday! This part I almost want to give just 1 star. We went on Father's Day and we waited almost an hour after 5pm from the time we lined up to pay before we enjoyed the buffet. Cashiers put the 'CLOSED / go to Next Counter' signs in front of us so they can allow the customers who waited for the tables that's another part of waiting to be seated. I then thought there must be no tables available which why took so long of waiting before we able to enjoy the buffet. Turns out there's lots of tables available but not enough servers or certain servers don't care to clean the dirty tables because they won't get the tips since those tables might already been assigned to another server. Bad system, especially during the holiday. Bonus: Buffet normally closed at 8pm!!! I've never heard buffet place closed at 8pm except here. So, better go at 4pm sharp than 5pm for dinner unless if you enjoy long waiting! From one end to the other.... fabulous dishes from all over .. Chinese, Italian, and Canadian cuisine to name a few are available at any point and time, wonderful hot roast beef, pork loin, chicken available. The desserts are to die for...from ice cream sundaes you make yourself to puddings, cheesecakes tarts and cakes. So many delicious options in one buffet. The prices are fair, non alcoholic drinks are included in your meal price. Has been clean and tidy with a wonderful staff ready to wait on you.
