Great authentic Thai food in Barrie! Well balanced flavours in the Tom Yum soup. Pad Thai and Thai Boat Noodle Soup were tasty with good portions. Thai milk tea is a must have. We came here during their dinner rush and it was busy for dine in and take out. Friendly service. Highly recommend!

Ordered the green curry with veggies and tofu, mango salad vegan, and a side of jasmine rice. Since my order was over $30, I got a free order of spring rolls which was nice. For the green curry and mango salad, I got medium spice level.. and this is your warning that Thai spice is pretty darn spicy!! Last time I got mild and thought it wasn’t very spicy so that’s why I thought I’d get medium, but I’ll stick to mild in the future. Everything was pretty fresh and tasty, and they followed my notes that I asked for in switching out bell peppers for more bamboo and other veg. Some minor things though are that the veggies in the curry seemed way too soft, so there wasn’t much texture to the dish. And the spring rolls although complementary, didn’t have much flavour and were quite small considering their regular price of $7.95 for 4 pieces… I wouldn’t order them again if not complementary. Their items are a tad pricey but they do come in good size portions aside from the spring rolls. Other than that, their service was fast and online ordering system easy to navigate. Will probably order again in the future.

I cannot say enough about this amazing Thai restaurant!! We ordered the vegetarian dinner for 4 as well as the Chili Larb chicken wings and Green Coconut Beef Curry. Each dish was so flavourful. The Hot & Sour soup was full of spice with so many different flavours dancing in your mouth. Best soup I have ever had!! The Chili Larb wings I ordered extra spicy and it did not disappoint!! This has got to be the best restaurant in Barrie hands down!!

After drooling over pictures on Instagram I decided to place an order for pick up. They were quick and friendly. We dived right in hence the pictures…each dish had a unique taste. All dishes were very flavourful and everything tasted very fresh. Our favourite dish was the Pad Kee Mao, we got it with beef and we asked for medium spicy. It was so good, nothing like anything I’ve had before. Explosion of flavours and for medium spicy it was generous with the spice. The portions were big. Definitely coming back here and trying some new dishes.

We moved from Toronto to Barrie so our expectations were high for authentic fresh Thai food. Rim Thanon checks all the boxes. The service is fast and friendly. The food is unbelievably fresh!!!! 100% would recommend. We will certainly be coming back.

Once I heard of this new a Thai spot in Barrie and having eaten at EatBKK in Toronto I knew I had to try Rim Thanon. Got two lunch specials and everything was amazing and so much food for 14.00. I can’t wait to try more dishes and dinner items. Service was great and super friendly. What can I say other then thanks for coming to Barrie and I’ll be back soon.

Clean place, good and delicious food, the staffs are friendly. It reminds me of our vacation in thailand but less the price. We enjoyed the food but we think that is kinda overpriced. Its maybe a once or twice a year thing. We had pad thai, coconut soup, calamari and mangi sticky rice. Our bill was total of almost $70. Love the food but cant afford it if its a weekly or monthly thing.

This is hands down the best Thai north of Toronto! This was our first time going for dinner and it was outstanding from the customer service to the menu choices everything was amazing. We had the fresh rolls, chili larb chicken wings the seasoning is out of this world and spring rolls for appetizers. The Khao Soi is one of the best Thai dishes I've had anywhere and the portions were huge. If you haven't had Khao Soi you will not be disappointed!! My new favorite spot in Barrie !!!

I recommend their pad thais, very yummy and the Thai ice tea! Also the platter appetizer was good. Authentic thai flavors that's full of unique aroma from spices and herbs.

Amazing, best Thai in Barrie! After hearing some good things about this restaurant a friend and I went to check it out. The food was amazing, we had spring roll, chicken satay, shrimp skewer for app's. And a couple curries for the main, also tried the Thai Tea drink and it was all amazing. Hours later I'm still savoring the tastes in my mouth and will definitely be back :
