Rico's Cafe and Pizzeria

Such a great experience! Honestly wouldn't have looked twice while driving past to stop in, big mistake! We stopped in for pizza and a few beers for our first time. The beer selection was on point and the pizza was amazing! We had a pan pizza and a Caesar salad. Large portions and very tasty! The waitstaff and owners were so friendly and very accommodating. We ended up coming back Sunday for their buffet as Bloody Mary's. The buffet was not your average crappy runny eggs. It was very well prepared and had quite the spread. Quality as quantity. Bloody Mary's were on special:) we will be coming back!

Very good food!! The staff and owners are professional and make a great experience!! Would definitely recommend!! I've tried multiple menu items and enjoyed them all!!

Go for the German food specials when they are available. They are very well executed. This place is very 'up north', a little dated in both decor and menu, but the food and service are consistently good.

Had their Chicago "deep dish" pizza and garlic bread appetizer. The pizza was not real Chicago deep dish, more of a thick crust pan. With that being said it was really good!!!. The ingerdients and flavors were super tasty. The service was ok, forgot a topping. Overall a really good local place for pizza. I would def go back. Didn't try the burger but they looked delicious.

Wow, this is my second time eating here and I've never left a restaurant feeling so upset and taken advantage of. We went with a party and all order the $12.00 buffet. When we first sat down we told or server that we would like a plain pepperoni pizza if that's possible she said yes no problem. We then waited for 45 minutes and the server came back to say that the owner didn't want to put out another pizza. (There was still an hour left to the buffet) I asked the server if I could talk to the owner and he came over and immediately cut me off to say that he's been doing this for 40 years and he knows what he's doing. They still charged us for the buffet but we did not eat it, I asked if we could at least get a discount and he told me that it was my problem I didn't like his pizza he put out. After we got up to leave he came back and offered to make us a pizza which we would have to wait for again at this point I was so appalled that an owner would treat a customer that way. If you've been doing this for 40 years I'm very sorry that you haven't learned in that amount of time that return customers are worth more than a 12 dollar pizza. I will never be back unfortunately.
