My husband and i visited last year and had a good experience. We were there yesterday about 2:00 pm and it was NOT a good experience. The Americano tasted cheap - not like most I have had. I asked for a spoon because the cobtainer was empty. He said 'just a minute'. When customers were served he still did not fill it and I sensed he was doing it on purpose. He did not thank me for the good tip. I spent over $50 on coffee and supported their causes by buying the Harvest blend but will not go back. They lost a good customer yesterday!

I don't know how or why the staff is so cranky and rude. This was the worst customer service experience I've had in a while. The barista at the register had zero patience or desire to help us find something we would like even though we were friendly and polite. The barista making drinks forgot our beverage and after asking about it when customers behind us in line had been served we were treated rather rudely. Customer service isn't that challenging, especially when your customers try to be friendly, engaging, and ask good questions about the menu.

Cafe is set in the old state hospital grounds; coffee selection is first rate; won't be disappointed visiting here.

The coffee they gave me had something wrong with it. It left a brown residue on inside of cup and tasted strange. I felt a little sick and gave up on drinking it.

Fantastic coffee, good prices and a great vibe. I love to come here and drink my coffee outside when I visit Traverse City.
