I had a lobster wrap here, and it did feature a good amount of lobster. The cod is also very enjoyable. Great service. This place gives a consistenly satisfying experience every time I visit. Soups could be less salty.

Another great dinner at Rube's. Ribs were outstanding and the endive Caesar salad was superb. My partner had a rib steak that was very tasty and tender. Also great local artisanal beer

We were a bit rushy and the staff was awesome about it. Promt service and excellent home smoked ribs. Will go back and take the time to savour it.

I travel between Quebec and Ontario, very often. I have been stopping to eat at this fine restaurant for over 15 years, many times for  business lunch, and many evenings as well with friends and family. I have never had a bad plate of food, the ambiance and service have always been a pleasant experience, thanks to their experienced and friendly staff.

Now lets talk about RIBS!!. 
 In my quest for the perfect ribs, I have been to many places that have boasted that their ribs are the best "Fall off the bone ribs you have ever had"  

   Let me tell you that anyone who has had ribs that the meat falls off the bone, does not know a thing about smoked ribs, because  the real authentic smoked ribs do not fall off the bone, they should have a bite to them.
Restaurant Rube makes by far THE BEST RIBS I have ever had, and believe me I have tried them all... So it's only normal that when you have such a fine product, you have to make sure you get their early, or you may arrive and unfortunately for your there are no more left... Its always best to call ahead.  Please also try the mouth watering smoked salmon, and of course their Triple AAA steaks are also top, and cooked to perfection.
Definitely worth the trip
