Restaurant Normandin

Ww had lunch today. My son and I both ordered the smash bob burger with fries, i had a salad as well. We asked food extra sauce for the burgers and the salad, they gave us both. The server frederique was very attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The cook Jo prepared the food and we enjoyed it all. Thanks to the team.

Sunday morning is full of people and not enough staff.. We waited 5 to 10 minutes before we sat. Waited more to put in order. When we wanted the bill, still some waiting. All in all, you need patience. Eggs Benedict plate looked pretty empty.

The place was spacious. Breakfast was ok, a bit bland and just average. Price reasonable. Staff was nice. They have a big selection of breakfast menu.

The server we had was very nice and spoke a bit of English. She gave us an English menu which was very helpful. We loved all the fruit with our breakfast!

Overall ok food. My husband had been craving for a while since we don’t have this restaurant in NB but was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. “Definately not a 10” he said. I ordered the spaghetti off the kids meal for my daughter and it was fine. I was not hungry at all so asked if I could get 2 kids spaghetti meals and I couldnt because I’m not a kid which was fine stupidest rule ever invented on the planet which shouldn’t exist anymore that dates back to I don’t know when but whatever but then I was literally insulted. The waiter says our half portions of pasta are the same size so I check. Double the price! Kids meal 8$ but adult 14$ the portion is the same the cost to the restaurant is the same but there’s still the “well screw you out of 6$ just because”. I would have been less insulated if she wouldn’t have told me the portions were the same. So I ended up getting nothing and stopping at st-Hubert for a soup when I left. They preferred to lose 8$ because I wouldn’t let them screw me by 6$. But I would have went to the drive through and they would have given it to me. Good marketing and customer service skills
