restaurant a la rive

Typical small town restaurant with an extensive menu for all tastes. I had a club sandwich that was very good. Service was fast and efficient. A rather busy place for a Monday lunch, but service didn't suffer. Clean place overall and plenty of parking. Right downtown Montmagny near the river.

Great place for breakfast! Open early for our big driving day. Would highly recommend!! Bon service! Merci!

The food was good and came quickly. The menu had a wide variety of options from pasta to pizza to sandwiches. The servers were friendly but the hostesses were unwelcoming. The place was dirty: sticky table, filthy side of window, unwiped chairs and benches. Overall Montmagny does't have many restaurants and this can be a good place to spend one dinner.

The lasagna I ordered was disappointing, bland sauce, and rubbery cheese made for a mushy, flavorless dish. A lot of toppings which is not aligned with the dish. The burger was dry and overcooked, with a stale bun and lackluster toppings. It lacked the freshness and flavor you'd expect. Both dishes were poorly executed, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and quality. Its not value for money this time.

We had a wonderful experience tonight! Our server was amazing, helping us in English which we appreciated, although we didn’t expect it. The food was just fantastic! Honestly, if you are looking for a delicious family meal, this is the spot! We all LOVED our meals. It was one person in our party’s birthday, and there was a treat for her too! 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back! Don’t hesitate to come here for a meal!
