Restaurant Le Pegase

Just remembering about the meal makes me drool again. Went on a non-busy evening, very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The very kind and caring waiter had time to discuss various subjects with us without intruding. The food was excellent. Perfect, even. From the soup to appetizer to main courses of lamb and duck to dessert: amazing taste and presentation. For the quality you get, the price is more than justified. I will definitely go back sooner than later. Don't forget to bring your wine bottle(s)!

Elegant Food, Superb Service and BYOB! A true gem of a restaurant. Best value table d'hote in town. Less than $50/pp for a sophisticated delicious 4 course meal, soup or salad, appetizer ( foie gras + $10), mains ( Bison Filet, Beef Steak, Arctic Char was the fish, Lamb chops, etc) plus dessert and coffee! I had the Bison which was Amazing. BTW Bison Filet is $78/kg at Atwater market. BYOB saves you $20 -$30 per bottle. Service is the perfect combination of casual yet professional. Make a reservation, but if not, call first and you might be lucky.

Wow. My friends and I were celebrating my wedding and this was a perfect place. We wanted French influences that combined all of the wonderful things from Canada's land, sea and air. A lot of value, charm and thought in an intimate setting .
