Very eclectic taste in decor... The restaurant is California Mexico fusion which basically means great food if you're looking for that sort of thing. Motjitos are great... Definitely a recommendation from me as most places don't make the effort. Very friendly staff and you will enjoy the location and views to the street. Reserve a window seat if you can. The cevice was decent. Get the caradones dish.. shrimps rice and salad.. great flavour. Definitely be back. Also child friendly. Thanks to all.
Nice place with friendly staff and, foods are also good in order to portion and quality... price is a bit high but if you want to go there once in a while it's ok otherwise it's not recommended for place to be there in regular basis...
The kitch decoration caught my eye right away ! We've decided to give it a try. I waited at least 20 min to get served another 20 min to get our dishes. When our dished finally arrived, we took our first bite... It was terrible. The service was terrible, the toilets were filthy and the dishes were catastrophic. When we received the bill, i was flabbergasted. 70$ for 2 burgers and 2 drinks. If i were you, forget about this place. Keep going on the street. You'll find a much better restaurant cheaper and better service.
I went with 2 friends. The menu is a pain to navigate, the service was pretty slow and the food was just ok. There was so much cream and salsa on the burger it was impossible to eat by hand with only toilet paper to clean up. The meat itself was pretty bland and the fries on 2 of the plates too salty. The nachos were pretty good though. It's not awful, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I guess some people would love the décor, I didn't. The burgers are good, everything else, don't even bother ordering, especially the mamba. 30$ for some chowder with seafood, mashed potatoes and salad. My last time there.
Very good mexican food!!! The owner was very nice!! With the big order we had he said we had to try his fish tacos on the house!!! It was alll amazing. We are definitely going to go back. He also gave my 2yr old daughter a gift!!
We were drawn in by the amazingly eclectic decor, but after 20 minutes of sitting at a table and being totally ignored by wait staff, even the funky surroundings started to get old. Finally we are able to order some interesting but expensive dishes and thought that things were looking up, however an hour later we were still waiting for food and starting to get grumpy! When the dishes arrived, the food didn't disappoint, but the long wait and lack of service had soured the evening and although our plates were cleared quickly from the table, that was the last we saw of the waiter, until we got up to search for someone to pay! As they say, "all that glitters is not gold"!
After waiting one hour with a toddler after ordering we had to leave without receiving our orders. The table behind us that came after us receive free guacamole for the long wait. We received nothing. It was even hard to get water. The waiters didn't try to solve the situation and was not bother at all about us leaving. Plus they don't have a place and won't accommodate you if you need to change the diaper of a toddler.
Nice atmosphere. I complained about the food price but aftward I thought, it's the same as everywhere else. In the end we had a great night! The place has good energy and the menu is great.
I've been to Mexico and this place definitely has the look, feel and taste of it. The food is tasty, only wished they had some "salsa picante" option since it misses some hot spicy option. Some minor cons: The fries portion are too enormous for one person. They don't have Dos Equis beer. Sol beer is $9 a bottle. The plates are on the pricey side. I asked to have the leftovers to go, and they brought me an empty container to fill it myself! :0
