Restaurant Le Fumet

From my five star review, you can see that I enjoyed my time here. I had relied on other Google reviews to choose this restaurant. What I liked was that the food was good and the seating very comfortable. The service was cordial and not over friendly. It was not apparent to me when I chose to eat here that it was more a sports bar than a family restaurant. There are at least six big screen TVs. Thought of course can be either a bonus or a negative aspect to your dining experience if you are looking to have an undistracted conversation. I liked that there was a good variety of food on offer. Lots of parking too.

I want my money back! I was completely disappointed… the price for the quality of the food… was too much. I got spaghetti with a sauce probably made from a can of meat catelli, no flavour at all, and my chicken parmesan had zero flavour as well. And I didn’t know since it wasn’t written on the menu that they filled half off my plate with a salad mainly made of rotten lettuce and a yucky slimey vinaigrette. The waitress forget my drink as well and never asked us if we enjoyed our meal and she even tried to charge me for it!!! We got a coselaw too and the same thing as the salad the cabbage was hard and tasted expired, and just plain vinegar.nnThis was my first time there and most certainly my last. The waitress rushed us and completely ignored us. The only thing that was amazing was the chocolate cake. And even that she had to ruin by putting a bitter cherry sauce on top! Should’ve left it alone Karen!!

A very nice location. We ordered some chicken brochettes, which were amazingly tender and tasty. Friendly staff. Thanks!

Subs are very good. Sauce is excellent but not worth the extra $2.25 i was charged for the tiny container seen in the picture ... Haven't been here in 6 years. The sub was still as I remembered excellent but the pizza was over cooked, under sauced, and had minimal cheese. We will be back, just not for the pizza, or extra sauce is any kind, especially considering the price.

It's a good place if you like it busy and loud. The food was amazing with good prices. The lack of employees was hard on them, but it was worth the wait.
