Residence Inn by Marriott Kingston Water's Edge

Great hotel! Staff is friendly and has a good breakfast and has great cleaning staff in the breakfast area. Clean hotel with good water pressure and heat. Air-conditioned rooms. Great little park by the water to relax in. The only complaint is that for a 10 floor hotel there are only 2 elevators. Can be a pain. Has 2-3 poke stops for those who play.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Kingston for a basketball tournament recently, and it was by far the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at for our tournaments. The location is perfect and makes everything walkable, the water views are beautiful and we didn’t need a car to get around. The rooms have lots of space and the full kitchen allowed us to save money on meals and eat healthier while away. The breakfast buffet was amazing, great selection of food, something for everyone. The coffee and tea is available 24 hours and it’s the best coffee I have ever had at a hotel. Pool and hot tub were great.nnStaff were friendly and helpful, my daughter left behind an electric toothbrush and they shipped it back to me with a small postage fee paid by me.nnWe will definitely be back in beautiful Kingston and we will definitely be staying here again!

We have been coming to the Water's Edge for 7 years to visit our daughter while she was attending Queens University. Now that our daughter has graduated, we arranged to rent out a party room and booked 3 two-bedroom suites, 2 one-bedroom suites and one wheelchair assessable room. All rooms were exceptionally clean and in good repair.nAll staff were very pleasant, but I need to single out Charles in housekeeping. On day 4 of our stay, we got caught in a rainstorm while returning from bunch. Charles ran to us with warm towels without being prompted at all. A very thoughtful man. Thanks Charles. Heather the sales and catering manager was also a standout. The room we booked for lunch and dinner was exactly what we needed and the caterer she recommended Tulips and Maple was excellent. Our 5 night stay at the Residence Inn Kingston Water's Edge was perfect.

Currently June 18, 2024 staying at the Residence Inn Water’s Edge in Kingston. Our room is city view but I can still see the water from my window. Room/bathroom/kitchen are all clean and spacious, and the king size bed is comfortable with clean sheets and decent pillows. Fridge, dishwasher, cook top, microwave, dining table, desk…lots of lamps, window that opens. What more could one ask for in a hotel room that’s not one’s home?nnBreakfast was alright, and a good variety of items: cereals, eggs, vegetable quiche, potatoes, bread, bagels, some sweets scones, banana bread, etc, yogurt, fresh fruits, milk, chocolate milk, orange juice, apple juice, tea, coffee, water….something for everyone.nnCan’t forget the staff….everyone I had to interact with was courteous and welcoming.nnI would stay here again and I would recommend it.

Our baseball team stayed at this hotel this past weekend and all the parents agreed it was our best team experience in our 8 years together. The hotel is beautiful and located downtown near the entertainment area.nnThe hotel staff were amazing and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for teams or anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay.
