We had a very pleasant stay with our three little kids. The location cannot be beat! Highly recommend paying extra for the waterfront view. The pool was lovely and clean, and wasn't too deep. Rooms are dated, but everything was clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was free and provided in takeaway boxes July 2022. Breakfast was 2 cold boiled eggs, an apple, a muffin, slice of cheese, orange juice, and coffee or tea.
In my experience the room was clean, had a good view and comfortable. However the wifi can be a bit spotty and the TV could use some repairs as the remote was hardly responsive and cut out often. The staff however are friendly and helpful! I'd say it's a great spot to just leave your stuff and relax after a day of adventuring and enjoying the sights as compared to a hotel you go to specifically for its services.
Despite some worrisome reviews, we found the hotel to be clean, welcoming, and perfectly functional. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was cute, and staff was super helpful and clearly following health & safety guidelines. I'm very confused by anyone who felt it had a "hostel" or "boarding house" feel. There was no one loitering around or anything off putting at all.
I booked last minute the day of my stay. The hotel was quite good. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent and they did offer a simple bento breakfast which is always appreciated. The hallways were a bit dark, especially in the evenings, so I think the hotel would be very much improved if there was new, brighter lighting. There is I think a medical clinic in the hotel which was a bit surprising. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s what it seemed like. However, it didn’t create any chaos or over crowding. There were no long lines or anything, in fact I didn’t see anyone go in or out. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
We were happy not to have paid full price for this hotel. Room was old looking - has not been modernized. Bed was okay not super comfortable. I don't think it is worth the full price they are charging. Parking was a joke. The good thing is location.Rooms: 3/5
BEWARE THIS HOTEL IS BEING USED AS A HOMELESS SHELTER. At around 10pm our bathroom started to stink on smoke, turns out people in the room under ours were smoking in their bathroom. The hotel is filled with homeless people who have no regard for others or regular hotel rules. Our entire room within 10 minutes smelt like an ash tray so we had to leave the hotel at 4am because our room stunk so bad we couldn’t sleep. The staff were nice but they should advertise that it’s being used as a homeless shelter.
If you read one thing, is this: Odd room numbers have lake view except for those ending in 00 and 02. BUT the ones ending on 17 have a very small window compared to the others. I had the 517 and when I saw that the others have much larger windows I was a bit disappointed with the room they gave me... If I knew I would had asked for a change. Besides that, the room was nice and the location great. The breakfast is a Bento box with an apple, a muffin and some cheese. Just ok. Actually I kept it and used it as a refreshment during the after noon. The room was clean. Rooms: Odd room numbers have lake view except for those ending in 00 and 02. This hotel. Is in horrible condition fleas! Probably cause they let you bring in your own animals. And the blond lady at the front desk stinks like body odor comming take a shower before you come into work. They so bad for tipsRooms: 1/5
The room was very clean. The staff were excellent. I appreciated the breakfast. No complaints from me. I would stay again. l.
The hotel room has nice clean beds, but the shower tub had leftover hairs as if it wasn't cleaned properly if at all. The room overall is quite dark, doesn't have a clean feel, saw a big spider, and the shower tub also did not drain properly. Even the toiletries were subpar - the shampoo did not provide enough lather - thankfully we brought our own. Very basic - if you just need to have somewhere to sleep... Best part is the staff in the breakfast room - very nice and friendly George was his name? - and the breakfast, though provided in a bento box, has more than enough to fill us up and serve as backup snacks.
