Residence Inn by Marriott Casper

Pure bait and switch operation. I was quoted a $75 pet fee over the phone when I made my reservation and was told it was a $100 fee when we arrived. We only stayed one night at the Casper Residence Inn, during my latest military move and the $25 difference would have influenced our decision to stay at this property, mainly because our room rate was only $93. Why would I pay more for our dog to stay in the room than my family of 4? The answer is I would not. We arrived at roughly 8:30 pm and were greeted by a gruff receptionist, who all but called me a liar and explained that if I didn't sight the paperwork acknowledging the $100 pet fee I would be charged for the room and not allowed to check-in. So, what choice did I have? None, especially when taking into account the time, the 6 hours we had been in the car, the fact we were traveling with two small children, and the loss of $93. I brought the issue up with Marriott's Customer Service and was given a phone call by the Casper Residence Inn's Manager the next morning after we had checked out. She politely told me there was no way she or her staff would have agreed to or quoted a different pet rate and that I would be charged the $100. $25 may seem minuscule but based on the Casper, Wyoming Residence Inn's decision to mislead me and treat my family with disregard, it’s enough to make me never stay at a Marriott property again.

Great rooms. Great, free, breakfast (hot and cold foods with a little variety each morning). Jacuzzi is nice considering how cold it can get here. Great room suite layout with a swivel flat screen for viewing from the couch and then bed later on.

Excellent stay. Breakfast is nice and workers and very friendly. Rooms are some of the nicest I have ever stayed in.

I checked it talked to an amazing lady she helped me around the hotel, I had a great experience. The beds were comfy the breakfast was great. I will always come back!

This place was just as nice as any of the big hotels. Breakfast was awesome staff was beyond helpful. When in Casper I will stay here
