Motel 6 Casper

We stayed there for the viewing of the full solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. They handled the situation well. Not over crowded or people parking there who shouldn't have been there. Friendly staff, clean rooms, typical nice Motel 6. I gave a four star because when we first got there we were given a smoking room on the second floor when I booked a non smoking room online almost a year in advance and arrived at about 4:30 so I figured we should get a good room. When I asked for another room she said she didn't think there was another room available. I said you mean all the people staying here tonight have already checked in?? That didn't make any sense at all. She did some looking and gave us a first floor non smoking room then.

I had driven from Colorado Springs in a cold snowstorm that day and was dog tired. I slept in my clothes with a coat on under the summer bedding, Room 206 was like a freezer.... I got the reservations and room as stated but it was 20 degrees that night and the heat wouldn't work at all and there were no blankets other than the summer bedding. When I spoke with the office staff, he was very nice but offered me nothing stating that the heater has some 'bubbles in it' I saw several electric heaters the night I checked in but all were in use. I couldn't sleep any more so I hit the road at 2AM just to get warmed up by my truck. I will not stay at a Motel 6 ever again Bill Sahlberg 3611 N. Idaho Rd Liberty Lake, WA. 99019

We've stayed at your Casper, WY motel for about 11 years and they never disappoint! Very friendly, helpful staff. Our only recommendation would be to change the air filter and vacuum the air duct in the smoking rooms more often. Otherwise, it's always the perfect place to stay! Thanks and we'll see ya next year! 😊

The location and suite setup was excellent. However, the room and floor wasn't very clean when we got there. I was staying for over 2 weeks and I didn't like it that house keeping would only come once a week (which they forgot one week and had to be reminded) and new towels once a week. Having to pay for daily internet was pretty lame as well.

I had a reservation and when I arrived the check in person could not put any one in a room because the computer service was down and she was on hold for the tech people. In the time I sat there waiting, several people looking for a room came in and left. I finally told the counter girl that I would wait in my car and eat my cooling dinner I had just gotten to eat in my room. When she came out to get me the key card to my room did not work so I had to return to the office. The next morning the current desk guy asked if I dad heat in my room on that freezing night as it seemed that several guests had not. I was one of them. After driving ten or twelve hours, it would be nice to to a comfortable room, eat, and sleep.
