Courtyard by Marriott Casper

Wish I could give NEGATIVE stars. Booked a king got a double queen. They didn't state I had been switched at check in. Instead I had to find out when I got to the room...right in front of the elevator door no less. I called the front desk and was told they had over booked and a king was not available. I asked for a discount and was told that because room was booked online I could not get one. HOWEVER! I had TRIED to book over the phone and they couldn't input the credit card correctly so I HAD to book online. Decided to just settle in but kept smelling a foul smell. Room #217 Finally tracked it to the mini fridge where the previous guests leftover rotten fish was! I called and was moved to somehow an even crappier room (#224) which I literally did not think was possible. There were someone else's hairs in the bed and two pubic hairs in the bathroom. One one the floor and one in the soap dish. The bathroom wall had stains and the ceiling was peeling severely. This hotel is dirty and the staff is lackluster at best. The kicker is the train that goes by and blows it's horn about once an hour. NEVER AGAIN!

Lovely rooms. Great staff. The amenities are great. The lobby and guests areas in both the Bistro and lounge computer areas are very classy and nice.

The place just feels run down, and I'm pretty sure it's fairly new. Water pressure and temperature are always an issue, and I stay there 20 nights a year. Nice staff.

Nice new hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I had trouble getting my room cool enough even with the thermostat set at 65. Please be aware that there is not free breakfast or coffee in the lobby. Prices were a bit steep at the bistro.
