First time here and it was a nice/cold/wet 18 holes. They have rental clubs available and the course isn’t over priced. I’d go back but I’m looking forward to trying other courses in the area. I joined two other players that knew the course well and it seems that the course is very community/neighborhood based. Thank you Remington.
Played here in early April and given the time of year the course was in decent condition and very playable. A few of the holes are a little close to each other I played the Upper 18 holes especially around the 1st hole and 12/13 hole area but as long as others yelled fore we were fine one close call. What can be a little distracting and possible slow down is the CN rail track running through the course. We had to wait twice in 2 rounds for the train to go by long trains and once it was actually stopped at the crossing. I guess if you play there regularly you are aware and it is expected. Also seems like the course is built in a power line corridor. Nobody in our group struck a tower or wire in the two rds but it must happen local rule gives you free re-hit on wires but not sure about towers. I did have a line-of-sight issue a couple of times. All-in-all it was an enjoyable couple of rds and the staff was very pleasant. Cost was fair and I would play it again.
They have two full 18 hole courses, so tee times are easier to get than most places. Staff are accommodating and friendly, more so than most courses. If you're a single drop in they will get you out there. They have a rain check policy that I really appreciate. I've never had an unpleasant moment with anyone there, always great vibes from the staff. The two courses are totally different. The valley is scenic, winding, hills and valleys, hole two is a challenging stunner off the tee and every hole is different. The upper course is longer, straighter, more narrow, and more flat. Prices are competitive. If you golf at or after 4pm it gets really affordable. Only potential detraction are some electric lines and towers, but I enjoy being able to play close to my home, especially on the valley. Great vibe whenever I arrive. I can immediately smell the grass as there are several visible holes from the pro shop.
Great course, I've been going here for years Conditions if the course are pretty good, greens and tee boxes are well kept as well. There is 2 courses here, both full 18's. The upper and the valley. The valley is definetly the harder of the 2 but they both have their challenges. Located in Markham just west of Sewells rd, on Steeles. Will continue to play here for years to come!
Round of golf on a beautiful but cold October day, course was in very good for this time of the year, greens had been tined but very true and nice to put on. Staff were all very helpful and friendly when visiting Canada again definitely will call again.
Just golfed there on Oct 15/22. Seemed tee offs were ever 8 mins. No marshal to keep the flow moving. Over 5 five hours to complete a round of 18 holes. At one point there was 3 groups waiting at one hole what a joke. Worst place to golf!!!!
One of my better golfing experience for 2020. The Upper Course is in great shape, Pace of play was outstanding and at a decent price for Seniors.Friendky Staff in the Club House and at the Starters box. Will be playing here again a couple time before the season ends.
This was my first time playing the upper course. The course was in generally good condition. The fairways are open and very forgiving. Be aware of the powerlines as they come into play as an air hazard for a few of the holes. We paid $75 walking and it was pricey for this course hence my 3 Star rating on value. We ate at the club house after our round and the service from Rey was friendly and excellent. 5 states for Rey. The food was good and served quickly. Overall a great day.
Played the valley course. Mixed feelings on this one. A couple of the holes are pretty stunning, others, you tee off beside a powerline. Some of the greens were in very rough shape as well. Not really worth the price in my opinion, but a decent course.
Had a great time golfing, John the time keeper gave us a map layout of the upper course to use as we never played that part of the course. Very nice course and quite reasonably priced. Will definitely be back
