Great for winter practice. The obvious being, can see your ball flight unlike simulators. The dome can be better lit, gets pretty dark the further out you go The Mays and stations are screaming for a much needed update and refresh. Overall it's a good practice facility. There are outdoor hitting mats and, a proper driving range on site, great for the warmer days.
Perfect place to practice during winter. Always enjoyable. Prices are fair but would advise to notify your regular customers when price change overnight as they walk in for a session. Not when making payment. It's frustrating when you go in for a special to find it has been changed literally over night. Otherwise if you have the itch, highly recommended.
This placed reopened after the Covid lockdown. They have made some positive and some negative changes. The mats and tees are all new and added some new balls. Also added some targets for accuracy practice. The prices has gone up BIG time, the indoor mat is now $40 an hour, it jumped from $25 pre-Covid. Forget about membership, it jumped 100%. Lots of balls are still damaged and have not been thrown out. And the worst part is they only allowed one person per mat which we find ridiculous. Couple or 2 people should be allowed to share a mat. Some prices included hst, some don’t. Better ask ahead.
Quality at an all time low. For winters never would have thought the docks in toronto would have better pricing for hitting the range. Additionally they do not have anywhere on the website that is one person per matt at 40$ an hour. If you plan on going with two people or more people would never go here.
Best indoor practice facility in the GTA, and perhaps the best in Canada. Better than a simulator because you can see the ball flight instead of relying on cameras/lasers.
Great place to go and work on your game. Staff could not be nicer and any more accommodating. This is a first class business.
I really like this golf driving range because the staff is super friendly and explain everything that you need to know with lots of patience
The outdoor facility at Markham Golf Dome has become my go to range now that Scarborough Family Golf has closed. I prefer being outside, when I can, to practise. The mats here are in generally good shape and you can choose to hit off the grass for the same price. To practise other aspects of your game there is a fair size putting green, a mini golf course and a chipping area with a separate green. They have also added more mats and an additional grass area this year. The indoor facility is large for a golf dome but they use different balls from the balls in use outside. Groupon can snag you some deals for practice and lessons. We have had good results getting lessons from Billy. Tip: If the rubber tees on the mat are broken then asking at the counter for a replacement will get you hitting your driver from that mat again.
First time here and it was easy to get around and get accustomed to things! Went for the outdoor range - paid for the balls inside got jumbo basket of 100 balls for $25 and rented a club $4 for the small, $10 for the large. Pretty neat to then get the balls dispensed automatically. My partner and I were both first timers and just came for fun and found that the jumbo basket was plenty. Also, everyone here seems to be really good at golf so it was slightly intimidating being new to the sport but the people around us were very friendly and even gave us a few pointers.
Come here often. Got lessons from Johnny choi here and very pleased. Great facility with amazing coaches and trainers
