Reliance Home Comfort

Our experience with Reliance has been really positive. Tony, our sales representative, was thorough and knowledgeable. He assisted us in purchasing a product we were comfortable with, with the budget we had. He was able to help us in the process towards accessing government grants for building energy efficiency in our home, to help offset the cost of the new furnace and air conditioner. We are pleased with the customer service we received from Tony, he even went so far as to check in after the job was done.

We had a good experience with Jayson Newton and his team when we replaced our 20+ year old furnace with a high-efficiency furnace. Jayson advised and coordinated the project from beginning to end, including the energy audit. We appreciated his expertise. The service was prompt and reliable. The installers went beyond expectations in problem-solving some issues that arose because our house is old. The new furnace runs more quietly and the new thermostat is easier to program than our old one. We are happy to recommend Jayson and Reliance Home Comfort.

Today we had a new furnace, water heater, humidifier, filter and thermostat installed by a great team from Reliance Home Comfort. I have nothing but praise for this group of guys, from Tony Gveric, who walked us through the process of choosing the right equipment and financing for our home, and arranged a quick turnaround to have the equipment installed, to Rob and Kyle, who showed up on time and efficiently and professionally completed all the work. They were very careful not to damage our carpet or walls as they moved equipment up and down the stairs to the basement, they explained what they were doing, answered my questions, and cleaned up beautifully when the work was done. Rob showed me around the new equipment and helped me understand what they had done and how the new furnace worked. He very patiently guided me through programming our new thermostat and instructed me about how to set up the smart phone link so we can adjust the temperature from wherever we are. I was very pleased with the work this Reliance team did today, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering this kind of work.

I have never dealt with such incompetent people in my entire life. I have spent several days, 15 phone calls and dealt with 10 different people (of which 9 were utterly useless and had no idea what they were doing) to get a simple solution for my water tank problem (on top of the multiple billing issues i have had in the past). Reliance truly provides the worst customer service i have ever experienced. 4 out of my 5 service calls i needed were booked incorrectly by the utterly incompetent staff Update 1 : When removing the water heater they messed up my plumbing. 2 more service calls and lost time off at work. Update 2: When installing my water heater they messed up my heating. Yet another service call and several days without heat. I will say the service techs were all very good even though mistakes were made, it really is the call center that is the huge problem with this company. In total 16 phone calls, 9 hours on the phone, 6 service calls, 2 days lost of work all for a simple water heater replacement. Stunning the level of incompetence.

Ann was incredibly friendly and approachable. She went above and beyond her role, was accommodating and efficient. We felt comfortable and non pressured to purchase anything though ended up getting all three, ac/furnace and eater heater rentals through Reliance. Ann made furnace/ac and water Heater shopping non stressful. We feel totally informed about our purchases and are very pleased with the process. Thanks to Ann’s hard work, both ac/furnace and tankless water heater will be installed in the next two weeks!
