Although Red Top Taxi is always timely with courteous drivers, tonight they crossed their own high standards. A gentleman called Mike, driving cab 55, a mobility van, was exceptionally helpful in giving me a hand with my mom, who is in a wheelchair. He took care to roll her in as I rushed to pick up her prescriptpns. He stood patiently as I led her up the staircase back at home even though I mentioned twice to him that he need not wait in the windy snowy night. But he made sure and stood their silently until we both made it safely to the top. It’s people like him that make you believe in the goodness of people. Such a hero for us! We will be using their mobility van over and over again and highly recommend the company!

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with both in terms of the driving service and their customer service... I was there for an event and was given a billing number that the company can use so I wouldn't be charged. When it was time to pay, I informed the driver and he started raising his voice, shouting that he can't do it because I hadn't told him before I got on (no where was this information mentioned). He hadn't even given me a chance to speak, and kept escalating, assuming I couldn't pay in another method so he kept driving (charging me throughout this more than the actual ride). I felt unsafe at this point I paid him with a card and then went to call and complain about this inappropriate behaviour. I spoke to someone who informed me that she'll pass my information to 'Tara' so she can call me the next day in the morning, and told me that my concerns will be reported as an incident and that I will be reimbursed for this. I called the following day when Tara didn't call me and was told she'd already gone home. I tried again the following week and was told she was on vacation. I called back when she had supposedly returned from vacation and was told that she had gone home (I called at 3pm). It's been over 2 months and I haven't heard back from Tara, nor did I get my refund. Unbelievable. Should I host any future events that will require taxi services, I will make sure to avoid them at all costs. Careful when you have to deal with them.

Excellent service, courteous drivers. The only cab company in town that actually comes prepared for any payment method. Never had a single problem with these guys, they're top notch.

I took a cab ride this morning, and had an uncomfortable conversation with the driver. He says: ''Most accidents are caused by the "Three O's: Old, Oriental and Ovaries." I am still waiting to hear back from the president of the Cab Company (Red Cab cab #46).
