Very friendly however my last time there was last night and my food was VERY burnt and not very good. Hoping our next experience will be better.Food: 1/5

This is a nice local chinese restaurant. It has been in LaSalle for many years. The inside is clean and well kept. They have a wide variety of options and the food is good. It is located right on Front road. There are a number of parking spots in front. However, if you are trying to make a left, be cautious.

I would give no stars if I could. New to Lasalle. Excited to try a new Chinese place. Got home and EVERYTHING was burned. Went back. All the lady said was "you don't want it? I reiterated that it was burned.Then she checked the bag and took it all out didn't trust me?? Really took her time. No apology. Never again!!!

Want to thank Red Sun for a fantastic dinner tonight. Just had there Deluxe Dinner for Two. The Wonton soup and Egg rolls were perfect and the everything else was absolutely the best ever. Thanks again

Very fresh, classic deep fried Canadian style Chinese food. Only wish was that the wonton was more wonton and less like chicken noodle soup.

Terrible service! Gave my families order to someone else which I understand mistakes happen. But instead of explaining they made a mistake and apologizing, they took the approach of trying to avoid me. I had to ask them 15 minutes later if they gave my order away. My answer from the lady was “yup”. Order was placed at 5 pm, my wife was told 40 minutes, I arrived at 550 and waited until 620 before my order was magically ready as if there was no issue. Go to pay and of course the debit machine was broken and I didn’t have any cash. Again, no big deal these things happen right? Well you think In the half hour I sat there waiting at the counter someone could have mentioned “oh by the way our debit isn’t working”. Now I’m heading to the bank down the street. Get some cash, come back and I’m still treated like nothings wrong, all is good not 1 apology the whole time, not 1 offer of discount. Now it’s 640pm that I’m actually leaving with the food I ordered at 5 pm. I tell the lady to inform the manager that I’ll never be back and she smiles and laughs..... now... I’m writing my first ever google review.

Not sure if LaSalle residents just don't know any better due to the high reviews, but this place honestly has bad food. The oil as someone said is changed maybe once a week. It tasted like it was on its fifth day or so. Nasty! I'm not one to knock restaurants ever, but wow, how could anyone enjoy that taste? The server was very nice though, very nice. That's why it has two stars instead of one. :

Great place for Chinese food.

My family and I have always preferred Red Sun in comparison to all other Chinese food restaurants in Essex county. Very polite and respectful staff in the dining area and talented chef's in the kitchen.
