Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

One of my favorite places to eat out as a fellow hospitality industry worker. I have been a server since I was sixteen (the adult servers ran my drinks when I lived in Alberta). So I believe I am extra picky about service and food quality and atmosphere. I have always had great service and ultra yummy food. I came here in a stressful day where I was dealing with a highly uncomfortable situation. My friend and I came here for comfort food and walked away very satisfied and a lot happier. I am eating the gooey cheese sticks today. They are amazing! Steffan has been my server both of my most recent visits. He is very friendly and accommodating. Great service with smiles 😊

I give this place 5 stars because I went 50 minutes before the closing time and I still got one of the best Services ever and we kept asking the restaurant if they want us to speed up because we don't want to keep them after their shift but no one of them had a problem with me and my friend staying and they kept a huge smile on their faces. Also everyone on the table was very happy with their food.

Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy. We sat near the food prep area and there was a female version of chef Ramsey barking out orders to the employees. Didn't come across as very professional. Got a guacamole burger and didn't notice any guacamole on it till the last couple of bites. Might have been a teaspoon of guacamole at best put on the burger. Had to flag someone down for drink refills and no offer of extra fries on their bottomless fries. Probably would have been a long wait for them anyways so would have declined if offered. This visit was an exception to what I've normally experienced there. Probably will avoid going on a weekend from now on. It seemed too busy for the staff to keep up.

Ordered my fav Ensenada Chicken. Luv it. Good service with smile. Will definitely go back.

Was not a good night. First we wait 3 minutes for the hostess to show up. Came here for my sons 9th from North Van. Was not worth the drive. We asked for a table/booth near where we were seated and we were told there was no one working that section, I said ok and not 5 minutes later there were people being seated there. So he gets the kids menu and I ask for some crayons. Oh we don’t have any is the reply. I then ask for a pen, no we don’t have any pens either. I go to the hosts desk. There are pens in a jar. I say may I borrow one and she says just remember to bring it back, (no I’m gonna steal it) I toss it back in the jar and go get one from my car. You know what, go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of crayons. So we order some appy’s and one was the Chinese dry ribs. They were tasteless. Definitely look into those. The fries with the orders were very lacking. I know it’s unlimited fries but how about more than 8-10 on a plate. Also my son was never offered his desert that came with his kids meal. Definitely a let down.
