Red Rabbit - St. Paul
"'Authentic Italian' implies some staple dishes and Red Rabbit certainly delivers. A selection of perfectly prepared pizzas with a thin and crispy crust - like the Old World Margherita or the Spicy Salami - are always a hit with the entire family. The selection of traditional pastas are no different. From the Lasagna or Spaghetti & Meatballs to the Tortelloni and the Shrimp Garganelli - all are flavorful dishes that will leave you planning your next visit. The approachable menu also includes a sampling of delicious starters like the meatballs, burrata, the cheese & salami board and, of course, the oysters. They're perfect for sharing with friends over cocktails or as a tantalizing starter for dinner."

Decided to try a new place for dinner with the kids. Ran across Red Rabbits thinking that we could sit on the patio since it was a nice day out. Unfortunately, their patio is pretty tiny and they were booked for the whole night, so definitely call ahead if you want a patio table. We still ended up staying and getting food in the main dinning room. Overall, everything was really good. The marinara that came with the cheesy bread was awesome, had a little bit of zing to it. The kids had the pizza, which were actually pretty big for kids pizzas. The salmon was done perfectly and paired with the perfect sides. I don't remember what my wifes dish was called but it was a pasta dish that she added chicken to. The chicken was done perfectly as well, one of her favorites she has ever had. Definitely a spot to try.
Good drinks! Great eats! Good service! Good ambiance- would love to come back for brunch or happy hour! Or a girls night! Or a date night! This place is good for it all. Tried a bunch of different plates and I'd order all of them again. Cheese curds were BOMB. Vegetarian options: Great options. Parking: Off street parking lot. Dietary restrictions: Accommodating.
This place could be a five depending on the dishes you order, but the short rib I had was under par. The service is great and most dishes I’ve tried are really tasty. Along with the friendly people, I enjoy the atmosphere, location, and the prices are fair I ordered both the wood fired oysters $20 and the raw oysters 4 for $10 during happy hour, and I enjoyed these thoroughly. The wood fired ones atop of the bread slices were packed with flavor and quite rich The short rib was not super flavorful nor was it particularly tender; spending $32 on it was not a good idea. The polenta had a nice texture and I enjoyed eating it with the short rib. The dish was not bad, but I wouldn’t ever spend $32 on it again Sticky toffee pudding from Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants is my favorite dessert of all time. Red Rabbit’s toffee cake is the closest thing I can find to it here in Minneapolis, and it is very good. I assume the whipped cream is homemade, as it’s a little bit on the sour side which I found odd and would prefer to substitute it for a scoop of ice cream. It normally comes with orange zest but I tend to stray away from it Much like red cow, this is a restaurant that I look forward to bringing people to and will continue to support as long as I live in the north loop! Everything pictured here was $100 including tip, but I spent a lot more than one would need to
The overall atmosphere is very fancy, but maintains the causal appearance. All of the staff there are very friendly and check up often. The pastas there are a work of art, I had the Cavatelli and I didn’t leave a crumb left! The Italian Grinder is loaded with meat and little vegetable not my style, but is very well prepared! I highly recommend this place for fine dining Italian food!
First time and did not disappoint. Brunch menu, specials menu for a great cause, and drinks offerings were fantastic. Something at every price point. Especially appreciated the great portion kid's pizza. Got to finish it off and can attest, delicious. Really fun kid's menu which is rare. Kept our four-year-old occupied the whole time. Service was fantastic. We loved how roomy it was, not all packed in like a lot of places. Comfy booths. Easy parking. Fun location.
Great food, excellent customer service, warm atmosphere. They accidentally made a mistake on my husband's order, and went over and above what was expected to correct the mistake. Truly A+ customer service. We're already looking forward to going back.
The food here is amazing, and our service was wonderful. It has a great vibe and we really enjoy coming here. One thing I will say is that they don’t do anything for birthdays, which was a slight bummer since we went here to celebrate our birthdays. But I won’t retract my good review because of that because overall an excellent experience.
The server not sure of their namewas AMAZING! I had the chicken parmesan which was good, but I've had better. The cheese curds were yummy! Loved the ambience and service, so I will be back to try the pizza!!
The St.Paul location is my absolute favorite. It’s welcoming, the staff are so wonderful, friendly and the food is always amazing. Everything about this place is great. 10/10 highly recommend. TRY THE WINGS AND THANK ME LATER!
Very very very tasty. This place and specific item were recommended to me as an out of towner and it was delicious. Definitely had a weird first interaction, the host sort of shrugged her shoulder at me but I'm hoping it was unrelated. The service was great, the patio was better, and the food was top tier. Highly recommend the spicey salami. Comes gluten free too:
