Red Pine Inn & Conference Centre

Super friendly staff! The layout is a bit odd. It's more like a motel than a hotel but it has an amazing vibe to it. The restaurant food was average, but the waitress was great. Seems like a great place for family's, has a nice looking play park on site. Pool is a good size, although pretty basic. Hot tub is basic as well. Has a sauna and a fitness room, although we didn't use those so can't say how they were. If you're looking for a clean, friendly, happy place to crash this is definitely it.

Have stayed at the Red Pine many times in the last few years. The people right from the General Manager down to the maintenance staff are very friendly and very helpful . Kept very clean and it is a nice place to spend a month or so at a very reasonable price. Will be staying there many more times. Again thank you to all the staff there !

Pros - Ironing board and iron in room, cable service, comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and courteous. Cons - No ethernet connection, Wi-Fi (2.5Mbps), one electrical outlet on lamp beside bed, sink is on outside of bathroom, shower head not adjustable, breakfast not included in price of room. Room is fairly expensive.

I haven't even stayed there yet and I already don't like the place. I am staying there with a group of people who are attending a wedding now the bride and groom booked a bunch of rooms for people to reserve and the hotel is saying check in is at 3pm but the wedding starts at 4pm so that's not giving us much time to get ready for this weddings so I call and ask for them to adjust the check in time for the rooms booked for the wedding and they pretty gave me the oh its policy and we can't change it non-sense. I will never book another room at this hotel. Pathetic service.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and courteous but the room itself left much to be desired. Perhaps it was because we requested a pet friendly room (for which we were charged $20 extra), but the room had stale cigarette odour and the carpets were very damp. In fact our shoes felt damp the next morning, which was very unpleasant! There were also some black hairs in the bathroom. The wifi in the hotel is VERY slow, making it almost impossible to stream any video for movies.
