Yesterday was a sad day. We went to my favorite restaurant where all of my favorite comfort food and drinks are all in one place. Let's start with the Cheddar Bay Biscuits - all of the butter and yummy garlic- gone! They were plain. Normally the basket is empty by the time the drinks come, I couldn't even choke down one. Then I always look forward to the strawberry lemonade. Before it came in a tall glass with real strawberries, it was incredible, now it is just okay. Then you can see the difference in the other $9.49 drink where are the berries? Maybe add the berries and reduce the amount of ice. All meals used to come with Cesar or Garden salad- nope not anymore. The really sad part was this was always my absolute favorite treat place that I always looked forward to. Now I don't have any reason to pay $120 for food and drinks that no longer taste good. Whoever changed the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, I really hope you know you will lose a lot of business. I don't care that I got to take a bag of them home with me. My dog didn't even like them. The wait staff was the best part of the meal, very friendly as always!
Yesterday was my younger sister’s 21st birthday and she wanted to have crab legs for dinner. We ordered our food curbside and we’re given a pick up time of 5:48 pm. We arrived at 5:55 pm and were sent a text from red lobster stating the food was ready and coming out. After 5 minutes of waiting we went inside and were told the food was being boxed up. Another 5-10 minutes passed and our food still wasn’t out. Our food didn’t come out until 6:40 pm. After expressing our disappointment, the manger did give us back $100 and said we *might* get a phone call about an additional gift card. However, once we got home our food wasn’t stellar. My sister ordered 1 1/2lbs of crab legs. Her 1/2lb was missing 2 legs. My husband’s steak was burnt beyond repair and very well done when he ordered medium. It was a bit of a disappointing dinner for how much the food cost and such an important birthday.
We just went there tonight. We had a 5pm reservation if 13 and there was a couple other big groups before us and we were sitted before 530. Our waitress was so nice and very friendly and patient with us. She was so friendly and very kind Kid-friendliness: They have quite a few kid dishes that they would love
Four person family birthday meal celebration, we were expecting fine dining based on many years of past experience at this location. Service was horrible. Side dishes were served almost 10 minutes after the main course and arrived lukewarm on two separate plates, making it awkward to eat. Table wasn't large enough for all the plates of food, we were literally juggling plates. No no one cleared our plates or offered us refills, staff pretty much ignored us although they must have heard our complaints as they walked repeatedly past our table. Would have liked a glass of water but there wasn't room on the table, so I didn't bother. Our waiter finally checked on us at the end of our meal and sent the manager to address our issues. Crab was soggy, shrimp scampi didn't seem to have any garlic in it at all, food was overall bland and tasteless. We we had to request and wait for silverware and crab cracking tools after our food was delivered and asked repeatedly for more biscuits while observing our waiter standing around on the other side of the room which was the only menu item that met expectations. The manager was apologetic and our bill was resolved satisfactorily regarding our complaints, as we weren't interested in the extra menu items offered to us as compensation and just wanted to leave. The experience was far below what was expected of the brand and of the high menu prices, at roughly $50 per person. Very disappointing.
I came into the restaurant on 11/16/2022 with my family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, the staff was extremely amazing one of the staff let my daughter touch the lobster first then Bailey our server was over the top amazing to us, let the kids see and touch a lobster first, we even got to enjoy my daughters cake that we brought in with some ice cream we got from the staff, keep up the amazing service!
Decent place to eat for a special occasion. The prices don't seem to match the quality of the food brought to the table. Speed of service was excellent, but the overall wait for the food during a slower time was about 45 minutes. Too long for me, but still not bad for a special occasion with lots of conversations.Food: 3/5
The food we had was delicious and the biscuits are AMAZING. My only complaint is that prices are high. Even for simple menu items, you're starting at $20/plate. Service was good, restaurant was clean but could have a better atmosphere.Food: 4/5
We had a larger group of people. Some of us needed to order sooner than the rest to be able to get to work on time. The food was great. The area we were in was great. It was just a very nice time to visit and eat. Thank for allowing service animal. The kids had a good time too.Food: 5/5
Our waitress was the most outstanding worker I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. Very spot on when we were close to needing more drinks and very polite. We hope to get her station again.Food: 5/5
What was to be a short birthday dinner for a 14 yr old took 3 hours. The waiter was not very organized from the start, he made so many trips back and forth as if he couldn't remember or couldn't carry more than one thing at a time. I ordered a cocktail and had asked about its whereabouts but never got it. He said that he would take it off the bill but didn't do that either. We waited for our bill, asked to have it separated which the waiter struggled with and had to have the manager assist. As we continued to wait the manager walked away and did not see the transaction through to the end. Bad manager. As far as the food goes; it was mediocre.
