EDITED 7/6/17, see below First time fat girl here- After years of toying with the idea of trying out Crossfit, I finally bit the bullet and ventured into a 6 AM class. Jenn (the coach) was stupendous, and was able to (VERY ACCURATELY) gauge exactly what I needed to hit my max. Hint- I was able to accomplish only 50% of everyone else even with significant handicaps put in place... but I did it! The class was small, which meant real individualized attention. Next up- "Ramp Up" classes to get my fat butt in gear for the real deal. Will update this post as I go. EDIT 7/6/17: Ramp-up was done under Jenn (the aforementioned coach) and Drew, the owner of this particular box. The Ramp-up was in essence a series of personal trainer sessions that happen in conjunction with an actual class. I completed my Ramp-Up in a few days, and was given the go-ahead to join the actual classes. During this time, I practiced... and practiced some more until my form was spot on. My full and active participation in classes started yesterday. Did I mention that form is of utmost importance? Yeah... no injuries here! For my first WOD workout yesterday, I was a solid 5 minutes slower than everyone else. Doesn't matter though, this fat girl is kicking ass!

I just finished my first month (on ramp) and I can honestly say that I have never had more personal attention at any gym. Every coach is awesome and made me feel like I could do anything! They are extremely concerned with proper form and I needed a lot of help!!!! In one month, I feel stronger, look better and know that I can continue to get stronger and more fit as I continue. For me, Rebel is about doing MY personal best. They make me push harder and they know my limits. I LOVE REBEL!

This place is amazing! Between the experienced coaching and the awesome members, you will not find a better box! As a chiropractor, form is very important to me, and the coaches here make sure that you are doing movements correctly, so that you get the best workout with the least chance of injury. If you are looking to build strength, get in shape, stay in shape, or just looking for a different fitness/lifestyle, this is the place to be!
