The response I received from my inquiry into missing points and they only honour the freebie once now.nnUpdate 2024...nIf you spend $300, you get basically $30 in points. I always have been given the points even when I spend $600 + I get the points twice, but I just looked at my receipt after I got home, and I only received it twice. I will go back tomorrow and if they don't give it to me I'll stop shopping here. I've already been going elsewhere for a lot of things because the goods on the shelves are sparse compared to what they used to have. The quality of the goods and services has gone in a hole, but they charge you more for everything.......nnUpdate: December 2006 The Freebies need to be more useful than a poisonous poinsettia or a box of chocolates.....I do a lot of shopping elsewhere now because the shelves are not well stocked.....and the freebies are not useful. The selections are poor. The options for vegan or Celiac friendly food are very limited, expensive, and not healthy options.nnI now shop a lot more at Walmart, the Warehouse....Giant Tiger, No Frills is great because they just give you points!!! Safeway and Metro have excellent produce, and their prices are now more comparable to other grocery stores.

I really like superstore but I hate the live lobster & crab. I avoid that area because I don’t want to see animals suffering. Please consider removing them as I’ve heard other people say they don’t like it either.

Shop here and pay hundreds to fix your car.nWhile the store and prices are good, my car has been involved in two hit-and-run incidents in their parking lot. I asked customer service to provide the plate number of the car that hit mine for the police report I had already filed, but they only took my phone number and information and never called back. I must mention that this is the only store where this has happened to me while parking, specifically in the family spot.nnYou have a cameras spotted to the family parking, why not trying to help them shop safely?

Arguably one of the worst superstores I’ve ever been to. As of July 2024 the produce section is barren and depressing. The prices here are astronomical. Paid 15$ for a small piece of salmon that was clearly frozen for its entire lifetime. The self checkout guy hovers over your shoulder to make sure you paid for all three avocados. This store is a grandiose mess.

I worked under the General Manager Kyle over a decade ago in Winnipeg. The citizens of Thunder Bay or the staff at the Thunder Bay do not realize how fortunate they are to have Kyle as the GM of the store.nnAs such, I worked in produce and a Janitor General Services for a couple years. I had Kyle as an assistant manager at the time and one of the biggest things I lacked was self confidence and I was insecure. He was one of the most professional and a great sense of humour. He never played politics to get ahead and out worked everybody and never treated anybody bad. He accentuated everybody’s weaknesses Authors Note: As mentioned by me and others by enabling there strengths. If things are consistent as it was when I was working with him around 2008-2012 what you have is someone who is extremely intelligent, adaptable ,outgoing, and considerate of the feelings of othersnnFurthermore, a conversation another assistant manager who will remain anonymous asked a friend of mine for years and colleague Daniel “ Who is your favourite manager?”, without skipping a beat we both said Kyle, we both did not have to bat an eyelash.its the truth and if someone as our lives carried on post superstore we both would be inclined to the same feelings with zero reservation.nnOverall, as life has transpired in my life and other colleagues that I work with that were under Kyle: Josh, Cindy who was a supervisor during Kyle’s tenure at Regent in Winnipeg , and I work with his cousin and niece at my current line of work and the names I mentioned. When Kyle’s name is mentioned it is like the grass is growing in someone’s lawn the conversation like the grass grows. He is an incredible human being on a personal and professional level.nnIf I ever left my current job and there was no wage and Kyle ringed me, I would bike all the way from Winnipeg to Thunder Bay. To have the Kyle, Rosanna, Shane and Zlatkos of this world in my life , I would jump at any opportunity. Kyle should be higher than a general manager..: if you had 100 Kyle’s all superstores sales and morale would be the best across Canada coast to coast. Saw him this year during the summer, but I was working and he was with family. This is the truth and I am not holding back. I do not care who reads this.
