Pollinators love our gardening, and where else to pickup hanging baskets, brightly coloured flowers and plants than REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE? Many plants are ON SALE now.nnThe luscious nursery is on the parking lot in front of the store. Every plant is healthy looking, sprouting and well grown. There are at least 3 different types of lavender, olive bush and interesting herbs, with clear care instructions. Walking through green and colour is so healing and rewarding !nnThat takes a lot of work and planning, but the results are amazing. Thumbs up for supporting local vendors.

For Medicine Hat, this is the best overall selection for a grocery store. There is a good variety of fruits and vegetables and they are fresh and of good quality. There is a decent selection of international foods available as well as fresh meat and seafood. They also have a nice selection of clothes and housewares that allow for a good general shopping experience. I would recommend that for those on a budget, get the Flashfoods app as you can get clearance products, including meat at 50% off. You purchase through the app and then pick it up in the store.

I loved shopping and walking around the Real Canadian Super Store when my son and I lived in Calgary years ago. I was not disappointed. We were very impressed by the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, the bulk section, meat, and the other areas too. And they have a nice sized Organic section too. The prices were very good too. They have a huge parking lot as well.nEnjoy your visit. We did!

I was in here last week early in the morning for vegetables and fruit. The spinach, the lettuces next it and the chard were wilted almost rotten like most of the time as well as the broccoli. In fact, I have not seen fresh broccoli in this store for over two years. I looked at the packaged spinach and chard and they were all rotten. There were no melons out. I went to the fruit counter and the ladies had an abundance of them but wouldn't give me one or cut some for me. I walked out like I do most times fighting back tears because it's so scary to never see fresh produce and yet the prices keep going up on the compost being sold in this store. My mistake for thinking I might get lucky and find some decent produce here.

The highlight of our shopping experience here was the self checkout, and the team member who helped us. I would recommend this store.nnMany departments; Joe Fresh, kitchen appliances and dish wear, pre made meals, weekly sales, fresh butcher and more.nnI was amused that they had their in store capacity listed, as it was something absurd in the thousands considering their square footage.
