Banks, rbc customer no service is a joke. On hold listening to elevator music for 2 hours. I couldn't wait on hold any more. I have a life. These big companies don't want to hear anything from the customer. They bore you until you hang up and go away. Welcome to the 21st century of doing business with the public. Shame Shame Shame
Horrible, horrible bank staffed by a combination of horrible and unintelligent people from the top down. It seems to be company policy. Not sure if the short, fat little old lady is still working therethink she was a branch manager, but she epitomized everything about this horrible company and horrible bank. They literally stole over $1200 dollars from me and she refused to do anything about, ended up in a loop that would have required so much time and effort to resolve that it simply became not worth it. But that's ok, I got the money back in the end on my own terms. That's the only way to deal with criminals who through regulatory capture legislate the legality of their criminal behavior. Treat them as they treat you. By the way, have you ever flown an expensive kite that you never paid for? I have and it was a wonderful experience :
Be careful of using their atms after bank hours. Homeless people stay in the vestibule and when asked to leave they were smoking and littering in the vestibule they were very agitated and even spat at us. I dint think this bank cares at all about their customers who are using their atms. Just be careful out there…
The overall experience of trying to renew my mortgage has been terrible. The Mortgage specialist I was dealing with has been completely unresponsive and has not been helpful at all. I've been a client for 30 years and the overall experience makes me want to switch banking immediately.
Tellers work extremely slow, always a line, not enough staff helping the front, usually in line minimum 20 minutes and almost always 2-3 teller desks are unused. No business line either. I only use RBC for the company I work for and would never use it for personal use. Clearly they don’t care about their customers
Honestly not impressed with the cleanliness and homeless people sleeping in the bank by the ATM machines . Explain how much you care and respect the safety of your customers . Hire security I am sure you can add that into the budget .
Brand new ATMs of the envelopeless variety; pretty cool except they do not accept or disburse coins. In Canada, with the grandfathering out of the penny accomplished and the nickel to follow, it will soon be the case that any denominations less than $23.99 will be resolvable only to one $20 bill with one serial number printed front and back. A single noun. The state of cash in Canada is such that it is a huge fee to carry spending money, to have a coinage piggy bank or a parking spot without a credit card. So this location is current and ahead of the curve with what "PTB withdrawl" means as an event, one that takes place with the witnessing of the greater institution of RBC and Canadian currency. It is also a problem that needs to be solved with the accountability of RBC and the account ability of a customer, funding these advances and others in technology with their resources, time and potential purchasing power deprived of a serial number-transferrable- in lieu of an RFID chip and a card that, like a bill, is not the property of the person whose name is on it. The obligations of this non-property, as well as the non-customers proprietary agreements are all rolled into whether a cell phone's screen, printed statement, what happens in the lobby of this location after business hours on camera, and "the cloud"-which has no wheelchair accessible parking spots or brailled serial numbers, or even a year of entrance of the $3.99 into a blind person's purchasing power-what the atm can do for them after pressing the button during business hours or having a human being hold the door after business hours. It is typical of all locations, as is the clearance of drive thru-atms similarly restrictive of the vehicle or small bus a person who USES wheelchair accessible parking spots cannot fit through. One does not replace the other and so this location, which does not presume to have an accessible or inaccessible new ATM for a blind person to get a noun with a serial number and braille on it, at least doesn't advertise falsely. That's as useful as it gets when entering answers into google. Hypothetical situations -common ones- are more useful to the mapping of time and space than personal experiences, unless, as I am attempting to demonstrate, the latter being built into the former. I'm not blind or disabled and so I can hold the door open for someone and wait as long as it takes for them to either veer off on a different trajectory or come on through. It's why I hold the door when nobody's around. Habit.
I was in the little cafe in Plaza 33 today, was craving a Beef dip.. the sandwich itself, although alittle small was very good... the side of "vegetable" gravy was the worst thing i've tasted, Id say it ruined the fries but the cook already did that by applying seasoning salt to them..i waited for the guy to ask me how it was when i payed the $10 bill so i could tell him but he was too busy talking on his bluetooth for that!!! Ill never go back nor recommend it to anyone i know!! Gary
Slowest service ever and its like that all the time. No sense of urgency, no greeting upon entering. I try to do my banking online as to avoid this place. Thank god I only have a c.c. through them, they cant compete with TD.
They have a business counter , yet I have never seen open . Why have it? Slowest branch ever , I can drive to other branch and back to work before getting service at this location.
