Unfortunately you can't give a minus review or a Zero review which is what this Royal Bank location definitely deserves, they decided two weeks ago that if you dont bank with them you can no longer go into the branch and pay your Credit Card.. Sept,2025nnFun fact all the other locations around them still will allow you to go in and pay with cash they've lost my business and when you call the credit card company on the phone they tell you that's absurd and they should be taking your money.they make notes on your account and they still refuse to take your cash.
I was at the bank this morning . Everytime I go there the staff always make you feel good their very helpful, patient and always meet my needs, they never make me feel rushed. They are helpful with suggestions about my account which I appreciate because things change and I may not of heard about it. Their always smiling with greeting to you with a good morning, afternoon and always pleasant goodbye. It a good bank the staff are excellent.
Embarrassing and pathetic.nYou cannot open a USD account online for your business.nYou need an in-branch appointment. Waiting time? 2 weeks.nnThese people do not live in the real world...nnWhen you tell them it gets done in 5 clicks in any Western country, they look at you as if you were a nuisance.nnI would move accounts, but ALL banks in Canada are a joke from start to finish.nnNo long-term view, no concept of business 'relationship', only fees, fees, fees.nnBut they do have their little woke sign stating you should respect them, of course, no concept of respecting the people that pay their wages. They are so IMPORTANT, so sure and full of... themselves.nnIf I ever need a mortgage, or wealth management, I can guarantee you it won't be with RBC. Wake up, it's 2025 not 1972.nnEven funnier. You file a complaint over the phone, and it gets automatically closed in 4 minutes. It's as if everything was planned and organised to generate money without actually doing any work. Might want to become a government agency then?
5 stars for anybody that is brave enough to have a bank with those cowardly and worthless excuses for police officers across the street. Remember, if someone robs you, be sure to be super nice and cooperative so the police don't charge you for being mean to a criminal. The police in this city actually promote crime and charge anyone who resists it. The Cowardly Canadian Club.
Only RBC can pull off customers service like this at rush hour. Line out the door, one teller.
