We utilize online banking for the majority of our needs so our inter branch contact visitors limited. We have found the staff to be personable and accommodating. Our Financial Advisor , Cindy Saban , is incredible. She is the sole reason we would never entertain moving our accounts or investments to a competitor. John and Bonnie Hasilo
Expect to constantly have people dropping the ball. Know that if you go here the success rate of getting anything meaningful done will be next to zero, especially if you have a business account. They constantly play pass the buck between employees to compensate for their lack of service. I'm not sure if it's sheer incompetency or they just don't care. They should because people will pull their business!

Worst bank ever!! Went to this bank to talk to a teller. They have no organization in this desperate time of need. The doors were locked with customers inside but had no instruction posted about waiting. I decided to call to see if I could have my questions answered. No one answered the phone so I left a message two hours later I get a call back. The lady is more interested in my name than my question. I try explaining to her mt question and she won't listen and just talks over me. I will never use this bank again. They need to fire a lot of their staff and hire professionals!!!
I have been dealing with this bank for almost 30yrs and although i do like this bank and the staff, it bothers me that today when i came in to make a simple change to my account, to lower my credit line i was told to phone the number on the back of my debit card. I was willing to wait for a available person but really didnt feel that this was a wanted choice by the person talking to me who's name tag says DEB. I really felt like i was treated as a inconvenience. Went to my car, made the call and even with some wait time, the whole matter was completed in about 17 minutes. On the phone i talked to a woman named DAWN, she was great. So although my visit started on a sour note, it ended happily.
Clients entering the building are often personally greeted by the manager himself, leaving you wondering if you came to pay a bill or check into a hotel. The ladies behind the counter are quick to remember your name and work hard to meet your needs. Overall, fantastic service from a great team.
In regards to the service inside the bank, there is always an ATM down and the counter staff are very pushy with sales and trying to get you to do everything yourself on the app - I don't think it's their fault though. But I also can't come here anymore. I feel awful every time I do. There is a poor old homeless man that stations himself outside this CIBC every time I go by. He always asks me for money and scares me. I feel terrible for him, but I also worry for my safety.
Everytime for the past two yrs when I call no one has ever picked up the phone we're in a pandemic and told by the government social distance and stay in our homes so shouldn't they're be someone working to pick up the phone to help prevent people from coming in and help social distancing and help the pandemic we are having? I believe so I love cibc but this one the one in lindsay is absolutely garbage I also called today at 11:00 it's now 3:00 and I still haven't received a call back and probably wont today considering they close at 4 now just the worst service I've ever received from a bank
Find it funny when you need to contact them or talk to someone on the phone they always put you to voice mail. Can never get a hold of anyone. What a joke of a bank. I recommend never banking with them. Will be opening a new account with another bank
Service is absolutely fantastic. This branch has always looked out for my families and my own interest with integrity and candour. Couldn't think of a better bank to bring my business into.
