I have never heard that’s a bank draft/certified check or a moneygram can be held to be cleared. That’s what I had to deal with and got a check held for 2 business days. I am quite sure had I posted the check using the mobile app I would have access to my money immediately.

I signed up with a business account with RBC. Staff here weren't very knowledgeable of the terms and conditions of this account type. It all worked out in the end. 

Location is one of the most modern RBC stores I've seen.
