I am surprised how such banks keep their business. CAN banks with their attitude are strange animals and to find someone knowledgeable - is next to impossible. Simple banking operations - is what they are for.

Exceptional service and nice staff. I think some of the issues below are due to ScotiaBank telephone service, not about this branch.

Makes you sign heath insurance as a necessity while opening GIC account for international student(which is not), to get the "commission", then give a solution to call them to deactivate it. Whats that ? my friend was charged $98 until an year passed by because of this. Working there just for your comissions ? Shame
